Parent: Our family is blessed to send our son and daughter to Ascension.The staff is wonderful.The wide variety of education and programs they receive, especially ongoing religious education is something they couldn’t benefit from anywhere else except a Florida Catholic private school in our opinion.The family feel and community involvement is so important at Ascension, which we love!The only thing we would like to see improved is the security for example surrounding the school with a gate and or wall.As well someone on staff just for security.Thank you Ascension CS!... Parent: THe school is outstanding. The facility is the best. The dorms are large and very clean. The girls dorm rooms are huge with your own bathroom. THe residential staff all live on campus and provide evening and weekend activities. The food is very good. Academically the teachers are true professionals. They care for their students and make them feel comfortable so they are comfortable to learn. The student body treats each other with respect and they do not exclude anyone. Everyone feels comfortable being themselves and the campus is full of empathy. The grounds are beautiful and my son enjoys being able to beach, disney, Tampa, sporting events. Very safe campus.... Alum: I had an incredible experience at MCDS throughout middle and high school. MCDS offers a wide variety of activities (extracurriculars, sports, community service, etc.) that give every student the opportunity to find their niche and shine. The academics are strong and the teachers especially unique in their willingness to form bonds with students. Some of my fondest memories during my time there were with my teachers. The community at MCDS is special, too. Being a relatively smaller school, it feels like everybody knows everybody. In high school, the teachers and administrators do a great job in preparing students for the college process, the college experience, and life beyond that. I loved MCDS and highly suggest!...
