Senior: The school is a great place if you are looking for good opportunities. Academic or recreational, our programs are excellent. Even our new programs excel rapidly. Our school places staff that truly care about the well being of the students and their futures. The only problem is that our school does not offer AP, IB, or honors classes. This may make students feel like it puts them at a disadvantage when applying for college because they cannot show their excellence in this field compared to other students around the country. However they do provide an advance programs such as The Math and Science Center, dual enrollment classes, and Career Technical Education where select students can take classes that increase in difficulty and challenge them selves at college level material.... High School Senior: I've attended Benton Harbor High School since my freshman year, and every year I try a new school. I wont this year. Simply because I have learned that other schools may be further academically, but no other school compares to mine. The supportive, family-like atmosphere makes you feel like you're home. Some people think there is a lot of room for improvement, but overall I personally wouldn't change a thing. What makes my school unique is the teacher to student relationship. Teachers will do everything in their power along with providing much support to make sure the student has everything they need.
