Junior: What I like the most about Pulaski Academy is the level of education that you receive during a person's time here. The curriculum is high level, as well as the classes. I also like the variety of classes that one can take. For example, there are a large number of art classes at the school, but if you are not into that, there are plenty of other classes such as varieties of math, computer science, and science. The community at Pulaski Academy is also great too, as the school's goal is to act as one big family. However, there are some downsides to going to this school. To start, some social aspects can be hard when you are with other people not from your school, as Pulaski Academy has a reputation of being a rich school for primarily white students, which does not sit well in today's society. Overall, students that attend here tend to be disrespected due to the school they go to. Overall though, the school provides a great education system that will help me succeed further in my life.... Middle school student: First off, I want to say that Little Rock Christian Academy is an amazing school. It starts with the preschool and ends after senior year. I love LRCA because there is such a connection that is made between students and so many new friendships once you join. You learn so much at this school and are definitely prepared for college when finished. Everyone cares for each other and is there for one another—teachers included—and I, for one, feel very welcomed and loved when I walk through those entry doors. So if LRCA isn’t the school for you, then you’re certainly missing out on a great opportunity for an awesome school. Senior: I have attended Conway schools my whole life. I also have three younger siblings in Conway school district. The best part about Conway school is the small town vibe. Everyone knows everyone in our town. The teachers thrive to help students because they really care about our future. The worst part about Conway school is the reading scores. My youngest sister is dyslexic and my parents had to fight to get her the help she needs. Conway needs more reading interventionist in our district especially in the elementary schools. Junior: Overall my experience at Central High School has been very interesting. Some of the worst parts have been the drama that circulates around the school and the fights that feel as though they happen every single day. Not only that but some of the teachers seem as though they do not want to be there which in turn affects the students. However, I will say that Central High has helped me build amazing bonds and the diverse culture is amazing to be around. Senior: I’ve been a student of Benton High since freshman year, and am currently an oncoming senior. Benton High has been a good school so far with regulating the safety of my peers and aiding those who truly need it. My worst class is math, but so far I’ve enjoyed all my math classes due to my amazing, patient teachers. I’m not kidding. I’m not sure if I’m allowed to name drop, so I won’t, but my math teachers have been incredibly helpful to me so far and have helped me keep an A with patience and positive guidance. The only worst experiences I’ve really experienced here is the super strict dress codes. We’re not allowed to have piercings in places other than our ears and we may only color our hair natural tones. There are school fights, yes, but that’s expected in public schools. These fights are handled very well by our admins, though, and I have only witnessed 3 fights in the past 3 years I’ve been here. They all ended quickly. Senior: I am a senior in high school who has been going to Lisa Academy since I was in elementary school. I've seen this school change in so many ways, mostly for the better! There isn't much extracurricular wise, if that bothers you then you probably wouldn't like it here. However, the college prep is insane. I feel much more prepared than my non-Lisa peers. If you're looking for a school that is hyperfocused on the future of its students, then this school is the perfect fit for you. Junior: Mount St. Mary Academy in Little Rock is an incredible school in terms of academics, faculty, and student body. Being a college preparatory school, each of the classes is designed to get you ready for college, whether you take regular, honors, or AP. There are also plenty of fun and engaging clubs to join. The faculty at MSM are incredibly caring and attentive with the students in a way that creates good connections. The way they design the classes makes for an active learning environment. The student body is incredibly close and accepting. As an all girl's school, the term sisterhood correctly describes the Mount, with students forming relationships with fellow students very easily. Everyone cares about one another, so the student body is an incredible support system. One of the only problems is a lack of diversity, however, there are many clubs and student associations that allow for students of minority groups to connect and raise awareness of any social issues that may exist.... Freshman: Being a student here at Cabot Freshman Academy is the best thing you could be. You can have so much fun with the teacher's lessons and the fun events at this school such as the dance or even the incentive days when you have amazing grades! How cool is that?! There's a place here for everyone like Agriculture, Choir, Sports, Construction, and even ROTC which looks great on transcripts. The school library is also an amazing place for you to study, check out books, or even play the VR. At this school, there is amazing food in the cafeteria from our amazing cafeteria staff, with chicken and even a ramen noodle bar. The school is split into many facilities where the subjects are not hard to find. There are even clubs too like FFA (you have to be in the Agriculture class to join), Chess, Key Club, E3 club, and even Spanish Club. When you join a club your like part of the family. Senior: There’s no place I’d weather be than Bryant High School. I feel so loved by all of my teachers, and am treated as if I’m more than just a test score. The friends I’ve made through clubs and other in school organizations set up by the faculty at Bryant High School is phenomenal, and are ones that will last a lifetime. Not only are our at home life prioritized by the counselors and other faculty members, our school life is as-well. Alum: My experience at Baptist Prep was unlike most high school experiences. I enrolled in their program for my senior year and everybody was so welcoming to me! Baptist Prep is a small school, so you get to know everybody really well. I definitely felt a close connection with my teachers, coaches, administration, and fellow classmates despite only knowing them for a year. Baptist Prep offered me an education that is hard to come by and I am grateful for that. Another thing that I enjoyed while attending school was sporting events. Every Friday night the atmosphere at football games was electric. Basketball games took it to a whole different level. Every Tuesday and Friday at baptist you knew it was game day. During the game, students, teachers, parents, and alumni would meet int the gym for one of the best high school basketball atmospheres in central Arkansas. Senior: At Conway Christian School you can become close to the people around you very quickly. Although I do not participate in any sports, there are many advantages for the athletic department. Teachers are very kind and treat you with respect, and they also are willing to help you at any point that is needed. Senior: My first time ever going into High school was in my ninth grade year. All my life before then, I had been home schooled. It was a tough transition, but when I was finally able to adjust to the cultural, I loved it! I love how all faculty and staff are so supportive and will help any student with a drop of a hat. I have a counselor who is so helpful, she helps me apply and prepare for college. I love how much the cultural is focused on Christ as we are all unified as one school and family.
