Parent: We love the Christian atmosphere where our kids continue to dig deeper into God's Word and find out that he is an ever present, never changing God. In a world that everything around us constantly is changing, it gives our kids the knowledge and confidence to lean on Him, who doesn't change and never has changed. The teachers push the students to work hard and take responsibility. The sports programs can struggle due to lack of students, but the teams (players and coaches) always strive to use their God-given abilities to the fullest. I am so thankful for Nebraska Lutheran!

Senior: My experience at York High School has been a very good one. York has a very supportive and friendly environment. Everyone there treats you like family, and in hard times, we all come together to support each other. The education there is also of great quality. Our motto is "Every student does every assignment". They enforce this by putting students on a list called the ICU and they have to eat there lunch in the library to finish their missing assignments. York is also very good at following the COVID guidelines. We started the year by going outside during 2nd period to take a mask break. We were told to social distance and take our masks off for about 10 minutes. One thing I would like to see change about York is their inclusion for the Fine Arts. I would love to see the school give more advertising and opportunities for kids like me who prefer doing theater and music over playing flag football or soccer. I still love York, though. It's a very nice school!

Alum: This school is very good. The staff are all very caring and are willing to make sure students are ready for college or whatevef lies ahead for them. There is no bullying, and anything that does happen is taken care of quickly and discreetly. The layout of the school is very good as well. The overall appearance both inside and out makes people feel quite at home and safe. I would recommend this school 100%!

Falls City Senior High School
- Falls City Public Schools, NE
- Rating 3.56 out of 5 34 reviews
Senior: I love Falls City High School, but their music department could use some improvement. The teachers are very caring and want nothing but the best for every single student. The classroom capacity is about 20 per room. This leaves a lot of room for one-on-one help. I would say my experience at this school has been nothing but great. Anybody who is looking for that small-town feel is sure to get it here.

Senior: I have been going to this school for five years now, and it is very different than the other schools I have been to. You feel like you're at home, that you have a second family you can count on. Walking in to school every day to see all of the staff and students, each with their own personality, it really does make you feel like you fit in. The teaching here is great, except I would like to see more of the one on one help with the students. At McCool Junction Junior/Senior High School, I would like to see more classes that help the graduating seniors move on into the real world. To tell them about the communication skills needed, the financial situations, and just general life skills that are needed for every day living.
