Senior: St. Charles Secondary School in St. Charles, MN is a very good school. Teachers are great people and they want to see students succeed. They handled the pandemic great and according to guidelines. The school is fun, inclusive, and they strive to help you out so you can succeed. I wish they had more clubs to participate in since I am not that into sports. There isn't a lot of diversity but that might be a factor for being in a small town.

Lewiston-Altura Secondary School

- Rating 4 out of 5 5 reviews
Middle School Student: I am an 8th grader at Lewiston-Altura and so far it has been a great experience! I was on the Track and Field team in 7th grade and since I was the only one in the wheelchair division, I won first place in the 100m, 200m, and the 800m. I also won academic all-conference honors. I plan on being on the track team again this year, too. At school, there has been some bullying/cyber-bullying that, fortunately, I am not a victim of, but I would like to get rid of that stuff. There is also some other stuff going on like vandalism, but I am also fortunate to not be a part of that. Overall though, my experience has been great at my school. The teachers are very nice and the senior high students are very nice to me. We also got a new principal this year! It has been a great experience getting to be at such a great school!

Alum: I loved going to Winona Senior High. I was involved in W-Club, Student Council, Tennis, Softball, and my freshman year I was even on the girls hockey team! As a senior last year I was also in the running for Winhawk of the year and was given opportunities to get college credit through hybrid classes! I also loved most of my teachers and made very good connections with both staff and students. Planning pep-festa and attending football games were my favorite activities. There is always something going on and things to keep students busy.

Alum: Hope Lutheran high school was one of the best experiences I had! Because of the small class sizes, you really get the attention you need in order to succeed. The teachers try to push you to your greatest potential. When I got to college, the classes were easier than most of the high school classes. If anyone is thinking about attending this school, I highly recommend it. Just stop by for a visit! You will not find a more caring and welcoming school family in the Winona area.
