High School Senior: Hankinson High School is located in a very small town. This small town is like one big family. This school works to accommodate the needs of all students, particularly students with special needs. Teachers work closely and one on one with students to make sure that they get the best education possible. The schools administration makes sure that the school is well maintained and that the students are respectful while at sporting events and other activities both in the school itself and other schools. It provides a fun atmosphere for learning. School and community spirit is very high in the town of Hankinson.

Senior: Wahpeton High School has wonderful teachers who have great one on one relationships. Their goal is to learn today and lead tomorrow, which has been very well shown over the past four years that I have attended there. I do wish teacher would have been better about putting in grades faster of on a better schedule also that teachers would make sure that students are given clear instruction as to how to do there assignments.

Senior: It has been a good few years that I have spent in this school. I cannot say it has been perfect, but there is a few things about the school I can say.
It's a small town, so it stresses sports. if your in them you will know your teammates better than anyone. However, I am not in sports. You still feel that same vibe in the stands when cheering from home or away.
The school is definitely willing to work with your schedule. Never feel pressured to do anything you do not want to. Though if you do try something new, everyone will most likely give you the best support they can offer.
Finally, the people are great. People will always be people. In a small town, people just seem more likely to say hello!!

Alum: I enjoyed being in a small school and having familiar people that became a family to me. It is a super nice atmosphere to be in. But the smallness can also be a problem sometimes when you just want to do new things and new experiences but you can’t. Overall great experience.
