Hamilton High School
- Hamilton Public Schools, MT
- Rating 3.94 out of 5 33 reviews
Senior: Hamilton High School provides an involved and rigorous learning environment that allows anyone to thrive.
There is a solid amount of AP and Dual Enrollment that can provide an opportunity to earn college credit and be challenged to think at a higher level. There is a balance between STEM and Humanities subjects that ensures a well-rounded education.
Along with academics, HHS offers a wide variety of clubs and activities that involve vast groups of the student body. Clubs include the normal student government and service groups, but also have other clubs like a GSA and Women's Group. The music, art, and theater departments are highly active in the school.
The teachers and staff genuinely care about students and take the time to get to know them. On many occasions in my four years at HHS, teachers have gone above and beyond to help kids learn.

Alum: The small classroom, more of a 1 on 1 setting with teachers, was very helpful to me when I attended. Most of the teachers are wanting nothing but the kids to succeed and go far and that is an awesome quality in a teacher. With that being said, not having a huge student body made it harder to make friends. I would rate overall a 7/10.

Senior: My overall experience at Florence was a good one. I attended Florence for almost my whole life. I left for a couple years, but came back. When I left I attended a much bigger school. I liked the small town community of Florence. It was easy to get one one help from your teachers if needed. The class sizes are small and you know everyone in your class. I wish there were a few more academic and sport choices. They tried to provide online courses to supplement what they were unable to provide.

Darby High School
- Darby Public Schools, MT
- Rating 3.38 out of 5 8 reviews
Senior: I am about to graduate from Darby High School, I can't tell you how much I enjoyed going to school here! Absolutely fabulous. It is a very small school, only about 20 to 30 kids per class, which makes it very tight knit, almost like a family. Everyone from students to teachers and parents watch out for one another, and I always feel welcome there.

Stevensville High School

Sophomore: Coming from a big city where high schools are 4 times the size of Stevensville High, it is definitely a little bit different. The teachers all seem to care for their students and try to make connections on a deeper level than just a teacher. There aren't a ton of AP options, but it is also a small school. I love our speech, debate, and drama program and how much school pride the students have. We also have an outstanding music program. Our football team isn't super great, but our soccer team is absolutely amazing. Having smaller class sizes is definitely a plus because you get to know everybody rather quickly. They have also done an outstanding job transferring to remote learning over the last couple of months and have made it easy to keep up with your normal school work.
