Senior: As a rising senior at IECHS, I have been at the school in it's first years, and my experience in these five years have been wonderful. Innovation Early College has been my secondary home in a sense, with a support system of staff members and a few peers turned friends. Senior: Overall JH Rose is a very good High School. I will say at JH Rose a lot of the clubs, etc. have do with the amount of popularity that a student has. You may notice most of your clubs are people of higher socioeconomic status, therefore not representing the full diversity of the school. However, the academics at JH Rose are excellent. Alum: I loved Greenville Christian Academy. I believe that it was a great christian environment, if someone is looking for that kind of environment. I do not believe GCA should change any of their ways of doing things. Their teachers were physically and emotionally involved, which is great as a student who needs that to be able to learn. Parent: I really enjoyed D H Conley though my high school experience was really hard with COVID-19. I was not able to really meet anyone, being I was new to the area. Freshman: South central overall is a great high school. The teachers are welcoming, kind, and helpful. The campus is big but you get used to it. I love the south central theater. The theater teacher is so kind and outgoing. At first I was scared and nervous about being on stage but she really helped me get out of my shell. Speaking of teachers most of mine were good. My math teacher is probably the best math teacher ever and I’m not even exaggerating. Out of all the teachers I had in the past he was the only one who taught in a way that made sense for student brains. One thing about the campus, I wish they would open the doors to the courtyard between classes so it would be easier to get to the other side of the school and the hallways will be less crowded. A few complaints I have about south are the smell of weed and vapes constantly, the behavior(bad) of other students, and the amount of fights.
