Alum: I was so fortunate to go to school here — AMAZING school district. I loved the teachers, they were always helpful & there for you and were amazing teachers Academically with great personalities. The school is very football oriented and other sports don’t get as much attention; however, the Football team has a history of being great (which brings in money & attention) & the head coach does a ton of fundraising (unlike many other sports) — so it makes sense why the town is so football oriented. This was my only complaint about going there, being a female who played sports other than football, but i understand why my sports didn’t receive the attention or funding that football did. Anyone who speaks less about this school didn’t utilize their resources or has biased information.

Alum: The school has a friendly environment and dedicated staff that truly care about their students' goals post graduation. There is a variety of extracurricular activities students can take part in. The school is also very involved with the community through its club projects, athletic fundraisers, and community service projects. The only fault that prevents me from giving the school a 5 star review is that the school focusing to big a deal on sports and not enough on clubs, the drama department, and the music department.

Senior: Stillman Valley High School to me is home, at least the last 2 semesters. With all of the change in the world in 2020 Stillman Valley High School has really put forth there best effort to create a simple and easy hybrid learning style. Meaning the district installed "Pexip" cameras and Monitors in every class room to live stream every single moment of class. By installing this system the teachers and freely move around the classroom as the were teaching a regular class. This works seamlessly with the district's hybrid plan. The hybrid plan allows students who do not feel safe to learn at school join the classes live stream from home. While other students may go to school and sit in while the teacher conducts his/he lessons for the day. This plan is centered around a block schedule. Students are in-person four days a week leaving Wednesday as a full remote day. This gives the amazing custodians a day to disinfect everything. In all my time at Stillman it was safe and educational.

Alum: Forreston Junior/Senior High School was my home over the span of seven years. I grew up with the teachers, became family with my peers, and felt safe and comfortable going there every day of the week. In my times of need, Forreston Junior/Senior High School kept me grounded in my school work and prepared me for what my next journey would be after graduation. Overall, Forreston Junior/Senior High School was the best place for me to grow up in and still be able to call home today.

Senior: Oregon High School is an amazing example of high school in small-town USA. While it is a fairly small school, the opportunities are that of a much larger one. There are clubs and activities available to everyone ranging from online gaming to bass fishing to competitive sports. No matter who you are you will find your place at OHS. The one place I feel could use some improvement, however, is the curriculum. There are very few classes offered that will benefit the average person in their day-to-day life such as home ec. Aside from that, I would say that overall, OHS is a great school.

Alum: Small school so lots of one-on-one time with teachers. I knew everybody in my entire High School, with less than 200 students enrolled. As far as sports and clubs go, anybody could participate in anything. There weren't really any "cuts". There are lots of opportunities for students in a smaller school. The Drama program is awesome, and all are welcome to join.

Junior: I have attended Faith Christian School since Pre-K. Through elementary, Jr. High, and High School, I have constantly been surrounded by teachers and peers who push me to be my best, care about me, and share the same love and passion for God. Although the school is small, people get to know each other really well and grow close bonds with one another. The school wants you to have a great education, serve God, and grow relationships and friendships with others.
