Senior: I love my time at Bethlehem. As a senior and looking back at my younger years, I find myself missing it more and more. The teachers are amazing and so kind. They’re super hands-on and will take the time to teach everyone, ensuring the education of all the students. The student body is wonderful. It’s like one giant family. The extracurriculars are amazing. The sports program is top notch in the school provides many clubs for others to get in. I can’t recommend the school enough!...

Junior: Thomas Nelson has provided limitless opportunities to be remarkable. I have been able to take in several initiatives as a student leader - everything from designing student-led tours called "Project Waldo" to working behind the scenes to create a school wide community service project called "Generals Serve." This school values their students, and they encourage us to say yes to the hard things because as we like to say... The answer to how is? YES. The care culture of Thomas Nelson is one that I have grown to love as well. We live by the motto "Take care of yourself, each other, and this place." Through this mindset we can grow together to create a strong community structure. Thomas Nelson has been more than just a school to me, because every single day that I walk in I know I have a team of leaders that care about me and are always there when I need them. We produce string, academic ready, college ready, career ready, and citizenship ready students. Go Generals!...

Senior: My experience at Bardstown High School has been very unique. At BHS, I took courses that are related to Family and Consumer Sciences, which not a lot of schools have. I've learned how to cook, money skills, how to care for a baby, how to take care of your body, and more. I've even gotten to participate in a national leadership club called FCCLA, which stands for Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America. I've had so many opportunities with community service, and I've made some of my closest friends with being in that club. I was even President of the club my junior year of high school! Also, I get to take a college credit class this year that will help me with my teaching career. I get to do observation hours in the primary school on every Tuesday, and I get to learn so many things to prepare me to be a teacher. The academics at Bardstown High School make my experience so unique and amazing, and I'm so grateful for my time of being a Bardstown Tiger...

Senior: Nelson County High School overall is a great school. As a graduating senior, one thing I am going to miss is all the teachers and the work and effort they put into their students. The teachers take time to build relationships with all their students and allow themselves to be open so if a student needs help, the student can receive it. Something else that is highly admirable for Nelson County High is that they practice career and college readiness. By doing this Nelson County not only acknowledges that all students do not or are not capable of going to college and prepares them to enter the workforce with certified training so the students can get a headstart with their future careers. Overall, Nelson County High School is a safe, easy-going, and friendly place that will help prepare the students there to enter adulthood with little struggles...
