Junior: Transferring to this innovative high school quite literally changed my life. My enrollment occurred during the downfall of the COVID pandemic; my previous academic performance was overwhelming to say the least. At this school there’s guidance with a smile at ever corner, outstanding opportunities along with a diverse staff and student body. This school welcomes those who want to take charge of their secondary education, like me. Conjoined with Nash Community College, this high school is like none other. The average high school experience has nothing on my amazing early college! Students are placed in an environment that harbors growth like none other; the sense of community is special. I’ve experienced nothing but growth (personal & academic) while at this school. I feel more confident with my future because the amount of support and encouragement I receive inspires me to do my best. Sophomore: Faith Christian is an amazing school with staff that truly love and care for every single student. Teachers at Faith Christian are very well qualified and provide an excellent education, going above and beyond expectations and connecting with students personally inside and outside of the classroom. Courses at Faith Christian vary in difficulty, insuring that each student is academically challenged, but not overwhelmed. Faith Christian's teachers and staff set students up for success academically and personally, encouraging and helping them along the way. Staff at Faith Christian not only care about your academic life, but also care about spiritual life. Senior: I believe that Northern Nash and the staff, administration, parents, and other students have encouraged and supported me these last 4 years tremendously. The teachers and counselors have taught me many life skills that have prepared me for college and for my future adult life. They have all helped me prepare for my academic career at NC State so I can be as successful as I can be. This school's spirit and family is like no other, everyone is fond of everyone and will do anything to help any individual in need of support and encouragement. The programs have been very beneficial socially and personally such as volunteering and leadership programs that I have been a part of. My overall experience at Northern Nash came with some hardships however, I was able to overcome these hardships through the amazing students and staff of Northern. Senior: Nash Central High School provides the exact education you need to succeed later on in life, they offer an array of classes that most other high schools don't offer. There are also pathway options to set you up to have a job when you graduate high school. However throughout my four years of high school I did long for the school spirit older schools in Nash County have.
