#4 Best Public High Schools in Mercer County
Senior: Hopewell Valley is a great school, it is clean, almost all of the teachers are great, except some that are lazy and don't put in any effort to help their students succeed. The curriculum is pretty solid and most teachers are friendly, and willing to help when you ask. While we DO have at least one large scandal revolving around racism because our school is predominately white, it is usually tackled well, once students make a big enough ruckus about it, which is an issue. Other than that, I think the prepare us well for college with challenging courses and assignments, a lot of the kids in the school are academically competitive and go for the big schools. It's a safe area, and the general population of the Pennington area is made up of mostly high-income white families, there is an increase in Indian and Asian families which is helping to increase the diversity of the school!
