    Parent: They have the most loving, caring staff. The school has been a game changer for my autistic son. He gets way more support and care at Marquette than any public school he has attended. They see him in a completely different way..as a real person with potential.

    Senior: LaCrosse is a great school for kids who want to be apart of a smaller community. The school only has around 120 kids meaning there is a lot of one on one time with the teachers. For the most part, you can always go to your teacher if you need help and since each class is small everyone is able to better understand the lessons as a whole. Most of the school partakes in community services. I feel it is really cool that even though we have such a small school we can all come together and make a big difference in our community. I can't imagine going to high school anywhere else.

    Alum: Great high school with lovable teachers and it grows more and more. The latest extension to the school was a complete remodel and expansion of the auditorium. It looks amazing. The music programs at the school flourish, and there are a number of clubs to be a part of, but no matter what you try out at LPHS, you are sure to love it! I also need to mention the wide array of different classes that fit all interests. You'll be left stuck trying to decide which elective classes to take!

    Senior: New Prairie High School offers a wide variety of courses that both challenge students and caters to their interests. The teachers are definitely dedicated to their students' growth and development and show true enthusiasm and passion for their subjects. The number of clubs and activities is astounding and it is hard to find a student who is not involved in something, so there is a group for everyone. The athletic teams, band, choir, and robotic teams are high-level, inclusive, and passionate and have done very well in recent years, maintaining high ranking against other schools. The facilities are well-kept and neat and often have nights where the public can use them. While current construction has made navigating the building difficult, there is great progress and the school will be better than ever after renovations which the administration is very dedicated towards.

    Alum: I honestly loved going to South Central! That being said, it does not do much to push its students. While I am doing great in college, (GPA 3.5) I cannot entirely say I feel the school prepared me for college. Luckily, I was able to transition from the slow, underwhelming school experience here to the fast, very overwhelming academics in college. I guess this does say something in itself though.

    Senior: At Michigan City High school everyone knows everyone and we all support each other. The teachers are great with giving students one on one learning time and all educators in the building encourage students to do their best. There are a lot of different clubs to join and everyone can join. I feel very safe and secure at school, we always practice safety drills and teachers know how to disarm an attacker because they all have to take a course in it to keep us safe. Everyone is really supportive of the sports teams and we all go to games to cheer them on. The band plays at every game and sound awesome! Parents are always able to check students grades and meet with teachers whenever. The community is very involved and we all love our big high school!

    Senior: I personally like Westville a lot. It has been my second home since I was in the 7th grade. I have taken many dual credit and a few college readiness classes. I am also a part of my high school band and I have been a part of it for almost five years. Every teacher I have come into contact with at Westville has always been kind, helpful, and respectful to me. As a senior, I have the opportunity to be a teacher’s aide. To me, this is a great chance to become closer with my teachers and gain a good teaching experience. The administration is fantastic as well. There are a few things that I wish I could change about Westville. The first being the school cafeteria. Eating lunch with my friends is my favorite part of my day. The only problem for me is that the school lunch isn’t always the greatest. I also wish there were more foreign language classes offered because Westville only has two. I am really glad that I have spent my high school education there.

    Alum: The school is for those who are interested in the priesthood to the Legion of Christ, and I personally loved it. It's a boarding school and there are only 40 kids from 7th to 12th grade. There are no girls. The campus is amazing and beautiful.

The teachers really know how to motivate them and bring out their best academically, socially, and emotionally. Their hands-on/project-based learning approach not only keeps them engaged but is teaching them the critical skills they will need to succeed in high school and beyond. I couldn't be happier with the education my sons are getting at Fessenden.
