Woodlawn High School
- Woodlawn Unit School District No. 209, IL
- Rating 3.5 out of 5 2 reviews
Junior: Woodlawn is a smaller school with fewer people, so all the students and facility grow to know each other on more personal levels, which has brightened my high school experience. Although, being such a small school there are some lacking factors, like diversity. There are also limited academic opportunities, compared to schools with larger populations. The academics that are offered and taken by the student body, though, are quite sufficient for our education.

Alum: My experience at Mount Vernon Township High school was great overall! The atmosphere was amazing and the teachers were great. I feel like they prepared me for college and life very well! I always felt safe at my time at MVTHS! The administration was great and they were very personable, they made sure to make you feel at home! All of the sports coaches at Mount Vernon have your best interest in mind and make sure to help you out in any way that was needed. I enjoyed my four years at Mount Vernon Township High school and can't wait to see what they do in the next couple of years!

Senior: Waltonville High School is a very small school, so everyone is very close. Pa rents are always involved and teachers can listen and teach every student. The school also gives all types of classes and offers dual credit. Dual credit allows students to jump ahead on college and make college some what affordable.
