Senior: I love the Catholic roots of this school; it has been around for many centuries and I always enjoy listening to how it has changed over the years. Alum: The overall atmosphere of Marshall Highschool was very active and allowed for a better learning experience for the majority of the time being there. One thing that would be nice to change although, and no hard feelings to anyone there, but at some point, some teachers at some point should have to think about resignation. At some point teachers become less in the teaching mindset but more in the, "I'm still getting paid" mind set and due to this they become less teachers and more as a paid volunteer.... Junior: At Pennfield high school the environment here is very friendly. Many of the staff, as in teachers, are very welcoming and try to help us achieve what we need to get to college or a trade school. I am having a great time, especially with school sports. All the soccer coaches here are willing to take the time and tell us what we need to do to be the best we can be. I am very grateful for them and what they have been doing for me and my teammates. Our school always provides an opportunity to get help if we need it. Seminar days are the days we can take the time to get some quality one on one time with the teachers. What I do wish that some of our teachers could be better at is not being lazy. I feel the less lazy and more outgoing they are the more they inspire the students to do the same. Senior: I had was they let me go to the career center CACC and after I went there I looked at my options there was welding so I chose it for the money and pay sense they make a lot after i've been in there for 2 weeks I stopped liking it so I moved to Collision Repair and discover I liked working on cars paint metal body work and much more this is some stuff I've done when I was there!!! At Battle Creek central there are many great opportunity's and there are so much to explore there many careers and learning bases to choose and from every day there something new to try when we have field trips its nice because the way they explain when I was at the career fair they let me touch the equipment they use for welding they gave me a sheet to choose from and it had many options and it was for each pathway from doctors to engineers and many more compared to other schools like Lakeview and harper honestly I am glad that I had the time here well spent into central it is a great......
