High School Senior: In my three years being here, I think overall it is a good school. I just really wish there were more AP classes offered, or more advanced math classes. Because of this shortage of advanced math classes, I was unable to take a math this year since I took Calculus my Junior year, and that is the highest math they offer. There is a community college in my town, but there are two problems with that: 1) I could not fit any college math into my schedule for high school, and 2) the classes there are not college level (for instance, one of my friends who was taking college Algebra there said they were taking a test, and a student asked the teacher how many feet are in a yard. This student was not mentally ill nor of special needs, and I feel if you are in college, you should know how many feet are in a yard by the time you are in college) I am a cheerleader at this high school, and compared to every other school I've seen, our school has the absolute worst school spirit. This frustrates me because it does not make games fun. Part of the fun of watching sport games is supporting your school's team and cheering loud and proud. I also dislike how there are so many cliques, which is in every school, but especially in small schools like this high school. I do, though, really like the school lunches they provide. There are many healthy and delicious options, and I never leave school hungry.
