Leopold High School
- Leopold R-III School District, MO
- Rating 4 out of 5 4 reviews
Alum: Leopold is an excellent place if you are a student who enjoys a close-knit environment and a busy schedule. Students are expected to perform at a high level in all areas, whether it be academics, sports, or extracurriculars, and this has proved to be the "fire" for some students and the undoing of others.
The lack of funding makes it difficult for the school to keep up with basic educational functions, such as reliable wifi (the Internet usually doesn't work about six days out of the month), facility repair (the bathrooms flood when it rains, constant issues with heat and air, etc.), or extracurricular support.
As for diversity, the rural location of the school causes most of it's students to become very sheltered, and, as a result, close-minded. The entirety of the school population is Caucasian, conservative, and Catholic, and anyone who deviates from that norm is often met with some pushback.

Senior: I enjoyed my years at Woodland High, they offered many programs available for all students. They had many days for learning real-world problems and how we take a situation apart. The staff is always so kind and helpful to anyone who needs help. Our school is also very active in our community, we have done many community service projects to help our community look better to anyone traveling through.

High School Senior: I love being in a small school, because it allows for a lot of hands on help. Teachers know you on a first, and last name basis, and are there to help with anything they can. The overall staff is very easy to get along with, and are extremely nice and outgoing.
