Junior: I went to Blue Mountain academy since 2019, when I was a sophomore. Now that I am a junior, I can say a lot of things about my experience at BMA. I honestly, can't put it into words, but, I will explain. My experience is the best. The things that they teach here are very important and valuable, especially about our Christian life. The teachers are very loving and kind to the students. Besides the teaching, the food is great and I love that they give us, students, the opportunity to help make the food. It is a blessing! Also, living in the dorms, has helped m to change, to become more socially active and being with people your age, you can learn from each other and discover unbreakable friendships. However, most importantly, the Christian life is great here. I see that this school really cares about our spiritual life as every activity ties into that. Parent: I have 2 students at TKA a 1st and a 3rd grader. My boys absolutely thrive there. They love going to school each day and excel both academically and socially. The staff and teachers at TKA know the boys, my wife, our daughter and me by name on sight. There is a true sense of belonging from the moment you are accepted to this school. The kids interact each day with students younger and older than them and get a true sense of how life outside of school will one day be. Alum: The best part of my experience was seeing the different pathway with every choice I made. It opened a new chapter within my life and gave me an insight of what it is to be an adult and independent. While it was teaching me the necessities of being independent, it showed me that no matter what, I am not alone. There is always someone willing to hear my story and will applaud me for every step I have taken. Not only will they hear my success, but the backstory of how I got there. The worst parts are the roots which make you strong. The worst part was being afraid of discrimination and racism. Senior: The best part of calling myself a Wilson Bulldog is the community the teachers create for their students. The teachers create a safe, protected community where students like myself can feel comfortable reaching out for help when it comes to academic problems or common day-to-day problems teenagers go through. Sophomore: Honestly, Twin Valley High School has been pretty fun for me. When I moved up from the middle school, it was like a breath of fresh air. The teachers were really chill and fun, and the students were funny and social. I loved having classes with not only my grade but also the other grades as well. It was a very new experience. People were always having fun and having a good time with anything they did. The social events, like Homecoming, were also super fun. Everyone just relaxed and had a great time. I would say that the only things I haven't liked that much are homework and the digital hall pass, Smart Pass. I find homework a little unnecessary in most classes, and having a digital hall pass that no one liked or used was confusing and annoying. There are a variety of clubs and the sports are super fun and, at least for volleyball, have a great community. Junior: My experience at Boyertown has been average but nothing to complain about. One of the worst parts of my experience is that the school is starting to become slightly overpopulated and it really shows during bell change. One of my best parts is the big range of classes offered to see what you like the best. We have tons of business classes, technology classes, art classes, music, and so much more! I really enjoy the school spirit because it truly feels like we are a community and we are in this together. Some teachers come to mind when I think who is trying their very best to help us succeed and I couldn’t thank them enough. I know I am lucky to have the opportunity to go to a safe and well rounded school like Boyertown and I would never take that for granted because of the world we live in today. Alum: Going to Conrad Weiser was one of the best things that could have happened to me. The community is really just something else, everyone is so friendly and connected with one another. I have made a lot of friends growing up there, and most of them I am still friends with to this day, despite us being so far away doing college. The education was organized and got us ready for what college would be like. Our school was very well-known for our science programs, specifically our agriculture department. Groundbreaking research for real world problems, technology that was only accessible thorough our school, and even a visit from the country's FFA are our biggest accomplishments. I was honored to be a part of such a strong and student-centered program, which gave everyone an opportunity to help make a difference in the community, state, and country. Senior: Hamburg is a decent school, with several outstanding teachers that make learning even the hardest subjects fun and easy. It offers classes for people who are not as academically strong and advanced classes for those who are. There are several Spanish-speaking students there, however the ethnic diversity is limited compared to other areas. I have spent my whole high school career there and have not had any particular problems with the school.
