Senior: My experience at Middlebury Union High School has been great. Well, up until COVID-19 ruined my last 2 months of my senior year! I have made some long lasting friendships, excelled in track and field, and received a wonderful education.

Alum: I had a great experience at Vergennes. It is a very kind community with lots of clubs to get involved in. If you do one thing at Vergennes, you most likely do it all; the star athletes are often the leads in the musical. I like this aspect because it produces well-rounded students. If you want to challenge yourself, there are classes to do so but at a small school, it is difficult to make your schedule fit. Teachers are usually invested in your success and there is a strong support network to get you through. While our facilities are wonderful - boasting the best gym and soccer field in the state - there are often roof issues that result in water damage. There is little to no diversity at the school, but that seems to be changing.

Alum: Graduated in 2016. Most of the teachers really go above and beyond to try and help you and get you engaged with the curriculum. Considering the 5 town area is extremely rural, everyone pretty much knows everyone. The advisors really help you hone in on what you may want to do for College, and they don't pressure you if that's not what you want to do. They ended up helping me set up my college visit to Champlain, where I toured the school and realized that's where I wanted to go! My time at this school is something I look back fondly on, and overall I could say (at least when I left in 2016) that it was a fine school to attend.
