Senior: I'm currently a senior at STA and the past four years have been an amazing experience due to the endless experiences available. There are a multitude of clubs, sports, and other events offered that allow you to branch out of your comfort zone or hone in on your passion. STA is pretty well-known for our outstanding sports teams, but our academics are just as impressive. The courses adequately prepare you for college and the guidance office is very welcoming and always willing to answer any questions you may have. I may be slightly biased, but this is an amazing school to attend during the best four years of life!

Junior: The school is superior to every other school in the entire South Eastern United States. Heritage provides the most extensive extracurricular programs in Florida with nationally recognized programs such as their Math Competition, Model UN, Science Research, and Robotics programs plus even more. Furthermore, the sports programs for basketball, soccer, football, and more are also really good, hence, the multitude of state/local championships that the school has. As a student, it can be stressful since all of the students are clearly top-notch kids that are very smart; however, the benefits from going to the school far outweigh the stress and hard work that comes with it. Moreover, if you look at any other school in competitions such as Science Bowl, Quiz Bowl, MUN, Mu Alpha Theta, and more, Heritage consistently receives top placing, while many of the "acclaimed" schools such as Pine Crest and Ransom Everglades don't even participate or they cannot even compare to Heritage.

They prepare you for the next level as best as they can. Many of the students graduate and become people of importance in the community. Alum: I graduated in 1988, started in 7th grade. PC is probably one of the best academic schools in the country. I was in one of the first test groups taking all AP classes through high school. Johns Hopkins awarded several of us scholarships. They probably should have prepared me for interviews because I was very young, but it looks like they do now. It is very competitive / expensive and not right for everyone. The most negative thing was social; I wasn’t rich. Nevertheless there were plenty of nice people and superb teachers who just loved to teach. Your kids will be really prepared for succeeding after entering competitive universities and graduate schools. They have plenty of sports & clubs.

Junior: Ive been going to WA for a while, this is my fourth year. My favorite part is probably the people, as I have some great friends here. There are a lot of extracurriculars to get involved with, and the school is really good at making sure the commitments are balanced, so you can be involved in multiple clubs/sports at the same time. The athletics are pretty good and almost everyone who goes here is involved in some kind of sport. Our basketball team has won states two years in a row and we have a bunch of other sports that have won or gone to regionals or states (water polo, track, XC). Our football team is terrible though lol. There are a bunch of different clubs and organizations to join- the drama department and robotics club in particular are really great. The school culture is mediocre. There is hardly any school spirit at all, the rules are pretty strict, and the students don't really care about the school events.

Senior: My experience at Chaminade Madonna has been beyond amazing! I attended CM my freshman and sophomore year. For my junior year I decided to transfer to another school for athletic reasons. I had a great time at my other high school, but it wasn't Chaminade. By attending two different schools I was able to compare the two and realized that Chaminade was my home. I decided to transfer back my senior year because I knew that was where I belonged and wanted to graduate from. The teachers, students, faculty, and staff make the environment there amazing. Everyone, whether or not you attend the school, are welcomed with open arms and warm smile. There just aren't enough words to describe how amazing the school is. I know that when I have kids and if I live in south florida, I will send my kids to Chaminade Madonna College Preparatory.

Junior: Dillard High School offers students a magnitude of different experiences and opportunities, especially when dealing with special magnet programs such as that of the performing arts. Opportunities are plenty and the academics are great, the only issue is that of guidance and administration. Although Dillard offers students plenty of opportunities, it lacks in showing its students what steps they should take to be on the right path for college. Regardless, being at Dillard has become the greatest four years of my life so far, as nothing can compare to the ample memories I have created that would not have been made possible anywhere else.

Senior: Cypress Bay is an amazing high school in almost every aspect. The teachers and staff are always extremely helpful and close to the students, treating everyone with kindness. The school is closed with fences and every student must wear an ID, reassuring everyone of the high level of security. There are different booths in the cafeteria with several options for students to enjoy the food of their choice. The academics are excellent, preparing the students for their future paths in college, work, and their futures. I see the diversity of friend groups and overall friendliness daily. When it comes to sports, the school does amazingly and every student is extremely dedicated and passionate about the teams! The school offers many clubs for everyone to join and/or take charge with officer positions. Cypress Bay has the most school spirit I have ever seen and never stops to amaze me with its new activities and spirit weeks!

Senior: When I first walked into Calvary's doors I felt welcomed, I felt accepted, and I felt loved. I didn't know anyone at CCA but by the end of the first week of school I felt like I knew every teacher, student, and administrator. For the past three and a half years, I feel like I was able to grow spiritually, be challenged academically, and nurtured socially through my high school experience. I have learned who I am in Christ, and how I can impact and love others. CCA is committed to making disciples, and I am proud to say that I am devoted to following Jesus Christ! I love my high school! I always have and I always will... I am glad CCA has been my home, my nest, and as a CCA Eagle I am prepared to take flight into my new endeavors in life! Parent: Great fine arts department with collaboration with Juilliard! Love that the students get to experience master classes in music, dance and art. Would like to see more opportunities for students in the arts out in the community. Great private instructors where music students can take private lessons after school. Love that dance classes are offered during the school day and can be used as PE requirement. Each day a different type of dance class offered. The school offers both academic and fine arts scholarships!

Junior: I'm only part way through but here is my experience so far.My first day at Blanche Ely was intimidating and challenging because i did not know where to go and who to talk to in case of need ,but in less than two weeks i started to adapt to the environment, i'm well liked by my peers and teachers and i have great friends.My friends and i would always get coffee at Starbucks after school.We would always eat lunch at this one spot which is behind the science building, i enjoy volunteering . I have good grades ,always show up in class, i don't dress scandalously ,i'm just not all that interested at face value.So far it's great it can get stressful but it's a one life experience to go through.

Alum: This was an absolutely amazing school. Before attending Douglas I had been to three different schools. None compare to this one. The staff and teachers did whatever they could to make sure students were on track to graduate or pass a class starting freshman year. Everyone was very involved with the students allowing them to succeed. There are an immense amount of opportunities to get involved from Deca, leadership and a plethora of clubs and sports teams. I will never have one bad thing to say about this school. I had the best four years there and met people who changed my life. Thank you for such an amazing high school experience!

Senior: Many AP classes are offered along with many other extracurricular courses available for students to take at their leisure. Those are all the positives I have found. Rather than depending solely on your performance, your grade in a course also dependent on what teacher you get. There have been many times where people have had a much easier time taking a course compared to their peers taking the same course but with different teachers. In AP courses, this is seen at its worse due to the immense difference in AP scores seen between the different teachers. They also think collective punishments are effective when they have done nothing, such as dealing with vaping in the bathroom where people still do it no matter how many times they lock the best bathroom in the back of the campus. Their attempts to try and instill mental awareness in this school end illy as the student body shares little to no interest in the activities we are forced to do.

Junior: What I loved the most about Miramar High School would have to be it's college readiness atmosphere. Being a patriot is all about going for what you believe in, doing your best in whatever you do, being true to yourself and striving for greatness! My overall experience so far has been excellent. I've joined numerous clubs and organizations, became well acquainted with the loving staff and remain being in the top 10% of my class rankings. Since becoming a Miramar Patriot I've also learn new things about myself and grew as an individual. However, if there's things I would change it would have to be renovating the numerous bathrooms and rebuilding the girls softball team dugout.

Senior: I liked the collective school spirit that staff members inspire. It brings out togetherness in the student body! I feel comforted and acknowledged that my principal knows my face and my name. I love the how involved administration is and teachers are very aware and caring of students which makes students feel safe and welcomed. There is help everywhere you turn, from teachers who are great at handling emergencies or simply a media center for you to use a computer. South Broward is excellent at holding assemblies to raise awareness about topics such as gun violence, safe driving, and even got students to register to vote. There are many clubs for any student to enjoy, such as Best Buddies where disabled students and able-bodied students come together and raise money to have pizza parties together which lets our disabled students know they're just as amazing as we are, if not more!

If it were me and by the time I graduate high school in my siblings a come in later on in the Years I think this school is an ideal place of getting semi real life experiences and getting out there with the extracurriculars, sports, anything involving the school is great

Senior: I like the feeling of inclusion the school gives the students. At Deerfield, there is something for everyone and everyone is encouraged to join a club or team and get involved in some way. There are over fifty clubs and we also have a magnet program called the Communication Broadcasting Arts program for students involved in anything involving communications and digital design. The school has top-rated sports programs, so students have the option to either play an exciting sport and to watch an exciting game with friends. The only thing that I would recommend to be changed is the physical look of the facility itself.

Sophomore: I am currently a sophomore student at Fort Lauderdale High School and I absolutely love being there. The teachers focus on preparing their students for each and every upcoming test, creating an after school study session for those who are struggling, and also provide extra credit opportunities to their students. Fort Lauderdale definitely prepares their students for college, providing AICE and AP classes for all students along with offering dual enrollment with Broward College. The students at Fort Lauderdale have so much pride in their school and support their sports teams in every possible way, whether it be attending football games, congratulating members of different teams on their achievements, and cheering them on at each pep rally encouraging a family-like base in the school environment. Overall the Fort Lauderdale is a great school with even better teachers and I am so grateful to have an opportunity to be apart of the Flying L family.
