Cobleskill-Richmondville High School

Junior: This is almost definitely the best high school in the county. There's an amazing fine arts program, as well as plenty of agriculture and college courses. We have plenty of sports and clubs. My one complaint about our sports program is that they only focus on football and track&field equipment. Some of the uniforms for other sports are older than the school building.

The Beekman School
- Private School
- New York, NY
Parent: Our teen took two 2018 summer school courses (English and math) at The Beekman School. Toward the end of the summer our student told us she would take any class offered by either of her instructors. That is high praise coming from a teen.
In addition, two of our teen’s summer school friends said that the number one draw of The Beekman School is their gifted instructors. One student attends The Beekman during the regular school year and the other was pressuring their parents to remain in the States in order to attend during the year.
The Beekman School summer and tutoring programs are worth every penny. I don’t know how they manage to make exceptional instructors the norm rather than the exception, but they do.

Schenevus Central School
- Schenevus Central School District, NY
- PK, K-12
High School Senior: I love the family-feel of this school, everyone is friendly and approachable. But from a maturity standpoint, personally I wish the students here were more independent and serious about their futures. I believe that I would benefit from a more serious environment, but also understand the importance of fun which this school has taught me.
