- Brighton School District No. 27J, CO
Parent: I have pride when I say that my child goes to Foundations Academy. The teachers and the new principal are fantastic. As with all schools there are things that I wish they did better, but I trust that this school is doing right by my children.
It seems as though every few months this school finds new ways to innovate and grow. From simple things like the addition of a 3D Printer to aide student's learning experience to new programs/classes and extracurricular activities.
I wish the campus was bigger, had a larger gymnasium and dedicated lunch room.
Two of my of my favorite features about this school is their Moral Focus and they way they encourage parent involvement (and not just the Moms).
If you are considering schools in this area, this school is definitely worth a visit. I do not think you will leave disappointed!

Parent: My children both graduated from AWS, and I am compelled to write this review because they are so wonderfully prepared for college. Thank you Annie Wright! The care and professionalism demonstrated by the teachers is amazing. My kids are not only academically prepared, they know how to advocate for themselves, and build relationships with their professors at college. They have started the boys school now I hear, and although I had some reservations initially, I do agree that this extraordinary IB education should be available to all kids in the South Sound. This school is making a difference in the lives of kids, families and helping the development of the region.
