Aviara Oaks Elementary School

Parent: The principal at AOE is amazing, and the teachers are really strong. It is a high achieving school, with an emphasis on academic achievement, but also has excellent extracurriculars. My daughter is thriving in the after school robotics club (FLL) and I love that they have opportunities in music and the arts as well. The fact that is is on the same campus as the middle school will make the transition to middle school very easy. A+ for this school!

Senior: This school has been the best of all! I have been attending Guajome since 6th grade. They offer great classes, great awesome teachers, everyone is very friendly they make you feel welcome. Our girls soccer team made it to CIF, so did our boys basketball team. I'm very pleased with my existence at the school. Very much recommend it

La Mirada Academy
- San Marcos Unified School District, CA
Niche User: Our daughter has gone to Alvin Dunn elementary for 2 years, since she was 3yrs old. She attended the Pre-k program with Mrs. Perkins. Our daughter had transitioning from one activity to another and socializing with her peers when she started, not only has her academic skills have improved incredibly but she no longer has those other issues. I would highly recommend Alvin Dunn Elementary. They have set the bar so high for the next school, that I hope just because her new school has a higher rating, that they can live up to that rating. :) Thank you Alvin Dunn!!

Futures Academy - Manhattan Beach
- Private School
- Manhattan Beach, CA
Senior: I really enjoy the one-on-one classes. It enabled me to graduate early. The teachers and the administration are caring and supportive. The only downside for highschoolers is the lack of social life; however, I am very involved in community service, work and have many friends outside of Halstrom, so this doesn’t bother me.
