Peak to Peak Charter School
1 Best Public Elementary Schools in Colorado
- Boulder Valley School District, CO
Senior: Peak to Peak is a really great school that provided incredible guidance through my four years, and especially during the college application process of senior year. I loved my time here! The school spirit could be better, but it's definitely improved over the years, and the social scene is characterized by competition and can feel clique-y at times. Overall, the amazing education and general experience I had at Peak to Peak far outweigh the things that I would change. Go Pumas!

Collegiate Academy of Colorado
35 Best Public Elementary Schools in Colorado
- Jefferson County School District No. R-1, CO
Sophomore: Collegiate is a small school so it is easier to have one on one time with teachers who always make an effort to help out their students. As the school expands our activities, a lot of opportunities have opened up for the students such as sports teams (volleyball and baseball), environmental conservation efforts, community service trips, various clubs / electives, and more. In relation to academics, many advanced courses are taught (AP) as well as honors, and because the school is K-12, advanced middle schoolers can easily participate in high school level courses. Another pro of being a K-12 school is that different age groups work together and interact to form a wonderful community where people help each other. I am so happy attending Collegiate, and plan to graduate with honors from there. The people, academics, opportunities, and positive atmosphere are what motivates me each day to learn and grow at school.

Stargate Charter School
86 Best Public Elementary Schools in Colorado
- Adams 12 Five Star Schools, CO
Junior: My experience at Stargate was one that I enjoyed overall. I switched schools between 9th grade and 10th grade and found that I enjoyed being at Stargate much more than my previous school. While I am not the best student, I think of myself as well rounded and the school allowed for me to express myself through different classes. Many students at my school are very academically inclined and we lack in the sports section mostly because my school is very small. I am in the first graduating class which has around seventy people in it. Overall, however, I very much enjoyed my experience with Stargate though I am slightly disappointed in the sports because not many students are interested.

BASIS Independent McLean
- Private School
- McLean, VA
- PK, K-12
Parent: Our son is currently in the 2nd grade. He has been at the school for two years, and it has been a wonderful experience. The enthusiasm of the teachers, who are truly experts in the subjects they teach, is infectious. They consistently set high standards for all students at every stage of their academic career. This is a school that prioritizes academics and the students themselves; it is targeted to students with intellectual curiosity and a strong work ethic. We are very happy here!

Charlottesville Catholic School
- Private School
- Charlottesville, VA
- PK, K-8
Parent: Our family LOVES CCS! Our two boys went through CCS and are much better young men and students as a result. The overall environment at the Catholic School is exceptional. Academically, the students are encouraged, supported, and pushed to do their very best in the classroom. The teachers do an amazing job of reaching each student individually which translates into a trusting, caring, and successful school experience for the student, the parent(s), and also the teacher. In and out of the classroom the teachers and staff also do an extraordinary job of instilling discipline, self-respect and respect for others, thoughtfulness, and a sense of community and personal responsibility. Our boys continue to excel each and every year both as students and as young men in our community and I believe those valuable traits are a direct result of the foundation, mentorship, and guidance that they received as students at the Charlottesville Catholic School.
