Cobleskill-Richmondville High School

- Cobleskill-Richmondville Central School District, NY
Junior: This is almost definitely the best high school in the county. There's an amazing fine arts program, as well as plenty of agriculture and college courses. We have plenty of sports and clubs. My one complaint about our sports program is that they only focus on football and track&field equipment. Some of the uniforms for other sports are older than the school building.

Parent: Our son is currently in the 2nd grade. He has been at the school for two years, and it has been a wonderful experience. The enthusiasm of the teachers, who are truly experts in the subjects they teach, is infectious. They consistently set high standards for all students at every stage of their academic career. This is a school that prioritizes academics and the students themselves; it is targeted to students with intellectual curiosity and a strong work ethic. We are very happy here!

Jefferson Central School
- Jefferson Central School District, NY
- PK, K-12
Alum: Jefferson Central School is a small school averaging less than 400 kids k-12. The sports is the more highly community supported clubs. The music and art programs are also highly supported. The experience of going to a small school and knowing everyone really helps create those friendship bonds. On the learning aspect of things, the education that we received is based on high standards though, coming from a small school, sometimes new technology took a little longer to arrive and become implemented. Once this technology arrived though, the education aspect began rising.
