Parent: Yikes - some of the reviews on here are pretty intense. I'm not involved in the board or the politics with the teachers and principals or anything else like that. I can only speak from my experiences there with our oldest.
This has been an absolutely incredible experience for us. My child has attended since Kindergarten and loves SCPA. Every teacher has been kind, attentive and caring - while also encouraging growth in our child intellectually and emotionally.
It's a tough school - they do push the kids, and they do have homework. I personally think that's a good thing, but that may not be for everyone.
We've also interacted with MANY of the upperclassmen and they've all been some of the sweetest people we've met in the community. They are kind, respectful adults, and even the ones that you think might be labeled as "misfits" say that they love their school and feel like they fit right in.

Works Here: Both of our daughters graduated from Park Christian School. We were very pleased with their education. They were very well prepared for college coursework because of the challenging academic coursework. More importantly, though, they grew spiritually in their relationship with Jesus because of the loving guidance of their teachers and mentors throughout their time in high school. We are very thankful and wish that every student had an opportunity to attend a school like Park!
