Bishop Loughlin Memorial High School
- Private School
- Brooklyn, NY
Senior: Bishop loughlin along with its diversity, is a well school and environment for children as they are more than involved in school. This school has many activities from performing arts to educational programs that are great! The one thing I love most is it feels like home. I am involved in school and it’s great. There are many opportunities that each of us are exposed to that can most definitely help us in our near future.

Middle School Student: What I enjoy the most about this school is, all the opportunities we are given. This school may not be huge and may have a low overall rating but it's because we are being graded from grades K-8 we have a lot of students and it would be much fairer to be grade as half an elementary school and the other as a middle school. The faculty is always supporting us and we have programs like SpringBoard(which was created by CollegeBoard) and Algebra I. This school is amazing and gets you ready for high school.

Parent: It's hard to put into words how special this school is to my son and our family. If you are looking for both excellent academics and a whole child approach, you MUST look into this school. The administration and faculty - in particular the Head of School and Athletics Director - are unmatched. Every boy is known and valued and driven to reach his individual potential in academics, athletics and the arts. The school does not just pay lip service to a values-based education; values are woven into the fabric of every school day. Having spent time in other independent schools, I can say there is a very unique sense of community among the boys and among the parents. My son started in the Lower School and is now in the Middle School and his growth has been phenomenal. The hardest part will be saying goodbye to this wonderful school!
