Parent: TFA has provided the complete package for our family! From the Christ based foundation our children are led and taught to be better people prepared for the real world. We have children in the lower school, upper school and a daughter that graduated last year. She was accepted to every school that she applied to and qualified for several academic scholarships, due to the excellent education she received at TFA. The facilities are first class, and the school campus is extremely safe. We have extra piece of mind knowing that the faculty and staff put safety first on campus. There are multiple school resource officers constantly on campus and well-trained staff in the event of an emergency. That gives us much comfort in knowing that our kids are safe while on campus! Senior: Overall, Foundation Academy has been the best Christian private school experience. For only attending one year, I can safely say I have felt fully welcomed by everyone around me and have enjoyed every second of my senior year so far. Junior: I am currently a junior at Pine Castle Christian Academy. Next year when I am a senior, It will be my 15th year at this school. It's the only school I've ever known and I'm so glad I've had the privilege of attending this school. Teachers at Pine Castle Christian Academy truly care about you and furthering your education. At Pine Castle you become apart of a family and have so many people from different backgrounds. The best things about PCCA is the arts department there is drama, choir, dancing, video tech, band, art and photography. You really get to explore your talents and get closer to God in the process. Alum: When i first came to crenshaw academy i didn't like it . Caused it wasn't like the schools i was used to . Big ;have a lot of extraricular activities , and a lot of students. While at crenshaw academy it was the contrary . I didn't have any personal space at all caused it was small, and no after school program. I was sad during my first week at the school, but the students ; teachers and staffs were amazing. There were caring ; had a lot of patience and were also great listener . Because of them i had a great experience at the school and din't even see what the school lacked of duing my time in it . Eventually what i would like to change is the lacked of after school programs. Caused students after school they want to have amuzement , that's the only rhing i think they should change . Junior: My experience at this school has been pleasant for the most part. The school is academics driven and does a good job at preparing students for standardized testing as well as college level education. I enjoy how easily accessible information regarding dual enrollment and testing is. Administration is also very helpful in meeting with students regarding whatever inquiries they may have. However, when it comes to creative mediums and the arts, there are not many opportunities for students to explore these areas. Other than a few music classes, a drama class, and an art class (all of which are only available to certain grade levels), the school does not do much to promote or expand the arts department. There are also not many classes that allow high school students to explore different career fields, making it difficult to know which path to pursue after graduation. Alum: I transfered to The Master's Academy in the beginning of my junior year along with my sisters (freshman & senior). It was daunting coming into the new school due to high expectations and standards as well the intense vigor of many of the classes. However, I was lucky and had a few key teachers who gave me guidance and encouraged me to improve and adapt to the school. However, my sisters weren't as lucky and had a few teachers that were unorganized and at times rude. I shared this experience in my senior year with an advisor of a society on campus. The leadership needs to grow and become consistent in their discipline of students and classroom standards. Despite its flaws, Master's helped me grow and gave me many opportunities and experiences I would not gotten elsewhere. I specifically want to command the arts department, who made my last years of highschool memorable, and the guidance team who helped me going into Master's and who helped prepare me for college and my future....
