Alum: I went to Randolph from 7-12th grade and loved my time there. The academics are rigorous but foster a spirit of curiosity that I have carried with me through graduate school. I felt thoroughly prepared when I went to college and was a step ahead of many of my collegiate peers. The small class sizes allow for you to really get to know teachers and be able to access them whenever you need. I was able to also participate in athletics and the arts and never felt hindered in any of those activities. One of my favorite parts of Randolph is Interim - a week before spring break used for experiential learning. You can travel across the world or stay in Huntsville and volunteer or job shadow - there are plenty of opportunities for everyone! I cannot recommend Randolph enough.... Read 89 reviews

Parent: Our daughter attends Columbia. Coming from military school systems and other subpar public schools, Columbia has been a breath of fresh air. Our daughter LOVES going to school every day! Her teachers are very communicative through fun apps showing us what she's doing through the day, and almost daily email updates! (Which we LOVE) My husband and I went and had lunch with her the other day and we were blown away by the way the students conducted themselves in the hall and lunch room. Middle School Student: West Madison was an amazing school. I am very sad that I had to move on to Middle School. I bet you could ask anyone that used to, or still goes to West Madison, and they would say the same thing. West Madison is a great school, and deserves to be bigger. Parent: Even in a rapidly-growing city and region, Madison Elementary excels by keeping the "small school" feel alive. Every educator is personable and approachable, the class sizes are optimal, the curriculum is fine-tuned to push the students just right, and school spirit is strong. The extremely high Niche rating for this school is well deserved and goes to show that is doesn't take a shiny new school and millions of dollars to get your children the education they need to succeed; this school building was built in 1936. Parent: As an RES parent for the last 9 years, I have seen this school blossom and grow into a place families don't want to leave. In the last 2 years, we have implemented a house system and it has changed the environment of our school. There are 6 houses and children are placed their 1st year and will remain there until they move on to Middle School. Each house has kids K-5. That means relationships are forming for years. Big kids mentor little ones and little ones love being with the big ones. School spirit is high and no doubt our House System and our admin play a huge role. Activities offered before and after school are plentiful. There are a variety of sports, art, drama, leadership and music available. Students get more recess and PE than ever. I am grateful.... Parent: My children have been happy with the involvement of their teachers and staff at Westminster. They go above and beyond to help them meet their goals, provide extra help if needed, and to engage in their academic and spiritual lives. The school recently added new learning tracks for high school including medical, engineering, and several more. My student has taken college level classes and felt very prepared. Parent: All 3 of my children will have went through Barkley Bridge. I just moved my oldest to college, my middle is in Jr HIGH, my youngest at Barkley. As a parent I appreciate the love the teacher's & staff have for our children. I also appreciate the hard work that they put into going above and beyond to make sure they are thoroughly educated to teach our children to the maximum ability. Senior: I started attending WCA in the 10th grade. The only real problem I had with WCA was their lack of AP classes or Honors classes; however, they have opened up their academic options tremendously in the last few years. Athletics are an incredibly important aspect of the school and I even played volleyball for a year and enjoyed it a lot. WCA also has a lot of community service opportunities, which I love. WCA has a lot of different clubs and we meet on Wednesday mornings; it's a fun way to connect with other students. The teachers are very personal and willing to help their students in any way they can and that makes school less of a burden. There's also chapel every other Thursday morning and optional Bible studies that make worship and praise really fun. Overall, I give WCA a 4/5 and I would recommend attending it.... Read 64 reviews

Alum: I went to Madison Academy for 14 years, and I enjoyed every minute! The Administration is always willing to help you learn and grow both as a student and person. They genuinely care about each one of the students! While there are plenty of extracurricular activities, athletics are most notable. The Fine Arts department, though small, is rapidly growing each year, and I'm so proud to have been a part of the Band, Choir, and Theatre. The Christian environment has helped many students, myself included, grow in their spiritual lives. Over the years, I've learned a lot about leadership, teamwork, preparing for the future, and working hard to achieve my goals. Sophomore: If I had to pick a historical figure to bring back from the dead it would be Maya Angelou. When I first heard about Angelou I never really considered or knew about the impact she had on the world until I heard her words.When I heard about her death in 2015, I was devastated.
