Works Here: I’ve been at CSS in several capacities for 18 years, the longest tenure of my career. I appreciate the administration, staff, culture, students, facilities, programs, and parent support. I’m proud to represent Kodiak Athletics and how our athletes compete on every level. We prepare and play to win, but not at the expense of life lessons and character. CSS is committed to developing the whole child and athletics is one of our conduits for this personal growth. Every MS and HS student is encouraged to play a sport, and we have 98 percent of students in at least one sport. We have one State Championship in boys basketball (2007) and many Regional and State appearances. We compete in highly respected and competitive MS and HS conferences. Our facilities are impressive and well maintained. I am fortunate to be employed by such a healthy and impactful institution.

Parent: AIES is really one of the best schools in Colorado Springs. Beyond the test scores, which are solid, the IB program promotes diversity and kindness. Unlike another elementary school of the classical nature, AIES does not relay on some false sense of entitlement but stands on its merit, its IB curriculum and its wonder teachers. AIES promotes a love for our nation but allows the kids to understand we need to work with others in this world. The kids are given the foundation to live in a 21st Century world instead of teaching some outdated pretentious writing styles and the learning of dead languages. Great job earning the A rating on niche.com AIES!

Parent: My kids have been going to Prairie Winds for 5 years now and they love it here. The teachers and staff are very welcoming and upfront with parents about their teachings and time spent with our children. There are many programs offered before and after school. The older students get to spend time with the younger students during reading times. And everyone seems to know and get along with everybody. This school is also one of the few in our area which has programs that cater to special needs children who have Autism. We love this school, the teachers and staff, and our kids do too.

Parent: We love our little Air Force Base school! The teachers are excellent. Military children provide a unique challenge when teaching, we move a LOT, Mom and Dad are often deployed leaving children in a constant state of transition, there are students leaving and entering the classroom all year long, from all over the world. DVE has teachers ready to help us and they genuinely care for our kiddos. The new addition to the front office staff makes the front office seem very unwelcoming but don't let it put you off, they are really kind ladies. All in all a great school

Alum: An incredible school with the best teachers I have ever known. They treat each child as an individual and strive for their growth and cultivation. Though some aspects of the student life, such as diversity or culture, may be a bit lacking, the academics and foundation of the school make up for it. They strive to teach their students and to prepare them for higher education. If your student is passionate about school and pursuing their education with fervor, TCA is the place to be. If not, they may be hard pressed to enjoy their time here. Overall, a great school!

Parent: We love this school I have 2 kids that attend and they love it! Both my sons teachers are absolutely excellent! They give them the feeling that this is their home away from home, both of my sones teachers make them feel safe while providing an amazing education. The kids are very nice. The parents are down to earth. The administration takes time to talk with the parents especially the principal she is great! The glen eagle environment feels like a big family! The school is always very very clean! The kids do not seem to be very stressed but are still academically challenged. We could not ask for a better school, this school provides such great opportunities for both of our sons!

Niche User: We love the way this school has opportunities for family to do things together. The PTO does a lot to ensure kids and parents have fun. The Science fair involves lots of hands on activities for the whole family and presentations from scientists. The teachers really care about the kids and communicate with the parents so we can be advocates for our kids. We just love the experience our two kids have had at this school.

Senior: I absolutely loved my experience at CSCS! They have an amazing faculty and staff, who are the nicest people on the planet! Many of the students are extremely friendly as well... I just transferred to the school for my last two years of high school, and the students accepted me as one of them right away! I was being invited to tons of parties and events, and that made me feel so welcome! Of course, there's always a few kids that are more worldly and prefer to hang out in their own friend groups; however, students should have no problem finding lots of fun, God-loving peers that they can hang around with!
