Parent: Top Administrators are inexperienced and out of their league. There is a rich community environment. I'm hopeful their project based academics will actually prepare my kids for high school! Computers in the classrooms have largely replaced books. Their enrichment programs are where the school shines. Art, music, spanish, pe, and electives make school fun for the kids. Parents are heavily involved and there are lots of field trips connecting students to the local community. The school is head and shoulders above public schools in the area. High teacher turnover and growing pains are difficult for families to go thru.

Junior: My attendance at Monterrey County Home Charter School was only a two-year experience, but a life changing experience. This academic school system taught me many important life skills, the two important were discipline and time management skills. The transition from a class room setting to a self learning setting helped improved these skills. I have noticed a major difference in my ability to handle situations after having obtained these two skills. Independent studies program is a better solution to solve for much of today's lack of education. Public schools are harming students by not preparing them for the real world. Through the help of MCHCS's curriculum I learned my learning style by having to be self discipline on completing my assignments. MCHCS is an amazing experience because independent studies system changes ones perspective on handling situations not only encountered in school but also real life situations.

Alum: Great school, great courses, but the teachers are very lax. It would be very difficult to fail. The program is very flexible so it can be used for students with chronic health problems or students involved in sports, etc.

Senior: Rosary is one of the best decisions I have ever made. I went to public school my whole life and Rosary was my first experience with private school. I knew absolutely no one going into freshman year and made friends before school had even started. There were so many opportunities to meet new people and find new interests and hobbies. I never imagined myself being Student Body Spirit Commissioner and leading a religious retreat more than once! There have been so many amazing memories and opportunities I have made at Rosary. Not only did I make new friends that were in the graduating class of '16, '17, '18, and, of course, '19, but I also made many new friends among the faculty and staff. They accomodate each and every student and put in the effort to get to know and chat with everyone at the school. Rosary has shaped me into the woman I am today and I couldn't be more blessed to have gone to such a school.

Freshman: Niche allows reviews to only be less than 1000 characters, so I'll try to summarize everything.
Academics/Teachers/Resource: MWAH! The teachers are all qualified and passionate about their respective subjects (many also have PhD's). There are many resources within the school that assist students' academic performance if they wish, such as the peer tutoring program, office hours, or simply having a classmate help you out.
Clubs: A surprisingly wide variety of clubs. The largest (and arguably best) clubs consist of Speech & Debate, Mock Trial, and DECA.
Sports: PE only offers the mainstream sports, such as soccer, basketball, and football.
Diversity: Nonexistent. All Asians.
Food: Most of the students hate it.
School Culture: Many of the students are talented and smart, but many of them at the same time are also conceited and condescending, which degrades the school environment by a considerable amount.
