Niche User: This school made me have more leisure time for myself instead of constantly worrying or stressing out about presentations, homework, finals, etc. I could choose which days out of the week I wanted to/ had time to work on the assignments for my classes. I also could form a normal sleeping schedule instead of staying up until 3am writing an essay due for class at 7:30 am. Now this could also be apart of poor time management and procrastination, however on independent study, you meet with your teacher for an hour at a time thats significant for you both; not 7:30 am. I could sleep in and enjoy myself. I could get up and actually eat a decent meal for breakfast. I could also travel, work jobs, start college classes for financial benefit ( due to still being a high school undergraduate), focus on getting a driver's license, and much more that I couldn't have accomplished if I had stuck with a regular public high school!...
