Alum: I went to Indiana Wesleyan School for 12 of my 13 years of school. I had a very positive experience for the most part. Like any small school, there is drama and some conflict but that is to be expected pretty much anywhere. In contrast, academics are satisfactory, and the school is very tight-knit. This is a Christian school so there is religious education involved here, and mainly Christian children go to school here. It is a private school so of course, it is not free. Although as a small private school, they may not have all of the resources or opportunities of public schools, it is superior in some ways. Bullying is more likely to be caught and stopped, and overall it is safer. The academics adequately prepared me for college and were well taught. The teachers are definitely personally invested in the students, and spend a lot of time outside of the classroom trying to help the students. A few drawbacks are less diversity in classes and social options.
