Parent: We transferred here from a highly rated school in another MD county, and were honestly a bit nervous, concerned we might see a decline in quality of our child’s school experience, simply because of the ratings (which aren’t bad, just lower than our prior school). But there was no need to worry. Our child has been very happy at Manchester! The academics seem appropriate and the teacher has been wonderful - very responsive and supportive, and really made the school switch a positive experience. There seems to be strong parent/community involvement at the school. At least for our child, so far, things are working out very well here, and we’re satisfied as parents. The only thing I can fault it on is some lack of diversity, characteristic of the area, but it nevertheless feels like a welcoming, friendly environment. Hopefully we’ll see more diversity as time goes by.... Read 1 review
