Middle School Student: Casady School is the best school in OKC. It cant even be compared. You see, Casady's education is top nautch for all subjects. All though Casady has the best education, if you want somewhere that has great sports this is not the school for you. The diversity is being worked on, but Casady support all religions! The teachers push you through challenges but will always have your back. Now, If you want to go to a great college, Casady is your prep school! Its safety is off the charts. Lots of security guards and drills practiced every year. Although Casady has a pretty bad sports rating its hockey is amazing! The food is delicious from SAGE dining! Different hot meals every day! The school is kept very clean. If your a parent you can help out with field trips, sign up to be a teacher lunch in, etc. They have great science, math, and technology classes, guaranteed to get you into a food college! Senior: Augustine Christian Academy is a school dedicated to teaching students how to learn and not just what to learn through a classical education style. It’s a smaller Christian school which allows the students to really bond with each other and build relationships and friendships that last a lifetime. Something about ACA that makes it unique is our House system. It is inspired by European boarding schools and all students from grades 9 through 12 are divided into four Houses based off of their character traits. These Houses participate in competitions in order to win and be the House of Honor for that Quarter. Houses foster leadership in students and it creates a family-like community filled with students encouraging each other academically, spiritually, and emotionally. Junior: I'm a current junior at Crossings Christian School and have been attending since 2nd grade. Crossings has a rigorous academic curriculum that not only teaches me the material needed to graduate but also allows me to find the connection of high school studies to the real world. The theater, vocals, and fine arts departments are wonderful! However, I would love to have more people involved in choir, band, orchestra, and musicals. Senior: I have gone to Metro Christian Academy since kindergarten, and there is truly nothing like it! The teachers and administration are fantastic and have the students' best interests at heart. When all grades, from P-3 to 12th, are in the same building, a strong sense of community is built, and otherwise unlikely connections/friendships flourish. Not only are the academics unmatched, the athletics and extracurricular opportunities are also beyond compare of other private schools in the area. Senior: The "Christian" in the name Victory Christian School is greatly emphasized. Teachers pray before class and check up on students. It's a very open and vulnerable atmosphere. We have chapels once a week. There's a worship team and there've been clubs specifically centered around worship, prayer, and discipleship. The academics at Victory are also exceptional. There are a broad range of classes available for all interests and all levels (that includes honors, AP, and concurrent course options) which allows students to have a more personalized schedule. Victory is also really involved with sports and other extracurricular activities. There's a wide range of sports for athletes, musicians can be in band or on the worship team, artists can choose specific art classes such as those focused on pottery or painting, and there's many clubs ranging from Law to Speech/Drama/Debate to Literature. Senior: Southwest Covenant was a great environment to learn and grow in my education. There was always time to talk with teachers and improve my grades. The school also gave many scholarship opportunities and tours at many colleges to allow opportunities for students. But how the school regulated their rules to students became very based due to a students popular. Also being a Christian school, most of the students they would let in would just have the money to afford the education. The school’s communication was very bad, and led to many students missing field trip dates, games and other important events. Parent: It’s safe to say this school has done a LOT for our family. My son (i’ll call him D) was nothing short of mentally impaired. He scored a 14 on his act as a freshman at Crossings Christian. I pulled him out and sent him to Ocs. He just finished his senior year, and scored a 25 on his test! It was a miracle. My son got to be a star athlete on the cheer and tennis teams as well as participate in the band and after school bathroom cleaning club. This was a great experience and I would recommend to any parent or student in search. The school is very diverse and It has people from all social classes and races. Parent: We have had children at Wright Christian Academy since 2006 that all started in PreK3 and are now aged 11-16. In all these years I have watched the teachers love on my kids and be there for them in tough times and truly invest in their lives. When I send my kids to school, it’s more like I’m sending them to their “second home”. Senior: Wesleyan gives you small class sizes with many opportunities for one on one time with teachers.
