Parent: We have been at PVCP since 2014 and we have been blessed beyond measure! We have 3 daughters that are all at the school and have attended since they were in the Pek 3s class. The teachers, curriculum and community are unmatched. I have worked in Higher Education within the education field and have an understanding of what makes a great teacher and great curriculum and this school goes above and beyond. My daughters, even at the young age of 3, were truly learning the fundamentals to get them ready for Kinder. They also developed an understanding of their faith and it grows in abundance throughout their schooling. We feel that the school is a true extension of our home. It feels like home there. Junior: Throughout my experience in ALA over all I felt like I had a community here at ALA. I got involved in athletic programs like Cross Country, Soccer, Wrestling and Track and Field. From the athletic involvement I've had I feel like I have a network of people looking out for me along with I have the resources I needed to be able to achieve my goals within my athletics. The best part of my experience here is the people I have met. One of the worst parts of my experience I would have to say is the challenges of the facility with the running programs. This was the worst for me because of the fact that we only had a dirt track. So having an actual track I feel like could have increased our successes in running. I think the main thing I would like to see change here is the track. I would like to see the time when this school has an actual track to enhance the team and overall school facilities.... Senior: Redeemer is a k-12 classical Christian school. I've been going there ever since kindergarten and am going there for my senior year soon. It is a small school so you get to know every single person there. You will even find high schoolers interacting with kindergarteners! Since the class sizes are very small (usually 20 at most per classroom), the teachers are very involved with the students and it's a very personal learning experience. They teach you how to think for yourself and stand your ground in a world that is ready to toss you to the wind. Works Here: This is by far the best school located in the heart of Chandler, if not the entire state of Arizona. This community is special. People here truly seek Christ first and have made an impact on my life. The staff and faculty pour into the students and prepare them well for life after High School. Senior: Overall, I feel that valley has allowed me to mentally prepare for the college level in ways such as academics, life experiences, as well as the social aspect. Valley Lutheran has a great community of people and allows for acceptance and new beginnings. What is also nice is there is more personal connections with staff and they make sure to create a pleasant work environment for the students. The athletics are also a major plus when it comes to valley because they are able to provide each student with the ability to play any sport they please as well as doubling sports in a season if requested. Parent: NVCA has an amazing teaching staff. For our 5th Grader, Mrs. Turek has been a great LIGHT in the classroom. She is a very skilled teacher and at the same time has very genuine connections with her students. She is one of the top reasons why our daughter loves school. This says a lot because our daughter didn't immediately welcome the idea of transferring to another school after a year of already being the new student in class. Our daughter goes to Mr. Molina's Math class and Mr. Molina is amazing, as well. He does a great job not only in teaching them, but also challenging his students. After school, Mr. Molina even attends home games to to cheer on players on the team who are in 5th Grade. Senior: Northwest Christian School is truly a blessing! My family moved here several years ago, and I’m so thankful for my time here. Parent: We transferred our kids from public school because they did not get challenged enough. We first attended a band/choir recital, & we were sold! We looked into it some more, &were happy. Kids R held accountable, which is a huge life skill! Rebellion is dealt with in a kindly manner, and counseling is always offered. Parents R involved in disciplinary decisions, as they R partners w/ the school. Academic ratings R good / the state accreditation. Teachers are super dedicated, not only to academics, but also are catering to the person as a whole, spiritually, and other areas of development. Being a small school, athletics is not it's forte, yet mostly dictated by resources and availability of participants. Attn to safety is top priority &the rule of this 'land' is "love your neighbor as yourself." Staff is superior to any school I've seen. Senior: My overall experience at Phoenix Christian has been very good. I have made a tight connection with people over the course of my four years. The sports are above average and the education is pretty good. I have one major complaint however. With all of the foreign exchange, and new program like Heart for the City, there leaves a gap in diversity. The school is not as unified as it could be. Often times everyone has their own little group and that’s how it stays. If only the school was a little bit more unified, my experience would have been just a bit better. Parent: Emmanuel is such a tight-knit community. We all support each other; students, teachers, parents, siblings. I know my kids are in a loving, nurturing, caring environment that is Christ centered. Students outperform academically. They have smaller class sizes. I love that they offer a variety of extracurricular activities like chess, sports, drama and instruments. I know my kids are safe and well cared for. Senior: I was transferred from Valley Baptist School to Mesa Christian Academy for my senior year of high school. However, when I came to MCA, I realized that I had credits missing the VBS did not give me. I then had to face the fact that I may not graduate. I was really mad at VBS because they used the same curriculum as MCA, so they would have known that they were not giving me the required credits. But, the teachers at MCS helped me through everything. I ended up taking two Math classes, three Social Studies classes, and a speech class all because my other school was not being honest with me. I was determined to finish, so I sat down and wrote the word graduate on about thirty notecards and finished my senior year six weeks early. If these teachers did not focus on the credits that I needed, I would NOT have graduated! I am so happy that I transferred schools before my senior. Alum: I attended Scottsdale Christian Academy in first grade, and was later given the name "lifer" when I graduated in 2019. Though everyone has their own opinions on private schools, I can't say enough good things about my experience at SCA. It quickly becomes a family rather than just a class or grade, the teachers and faculty members truly want you to succeed and build a relationship with you, and the sports and extra curricular activities are the highlight of each week. I personally was involved in three sports, that gave me some of my best friends, memories, and learning experiences I wouldn't trade for the world. Being such a small school, everyone is there wanting you to succeed and so passionate about our school and pride, that the football, basketball, volleyball, and every other games are filled to the brim with fans, chants, and passion. Parent: All Saints is the most wonderful 2nd home my wife and four children could have ever asked for. Its nurturing, loving, educational and provides everything we were looking for. The staff is second to none, our children are the happiest they've ever been, we've made the most amazing friends and they are learning beyond our wildest expectations! Most of the kids go to college to Ivy League school and or on college scholarships and this school sets children up to be "amazing people." Its hard to get into, its expensive, its 5 stars and its the best for 1000's of reasons but you'll never know unless you come down and see for yourself. As long as I live in the Phoenix Metro area, my kids, grand-kids and their kids will always attend All Saints! Keep in mind, my family and I drive over 30 miles each way to attend this school and we pay tuition for 4 children so we're not an easy family to win over! Parent: First, this is called West Valley Christian now...no longer Phx Christian West Valley. That said....Came from a nearby over-rated Charter school after enduring non-licensed, under-educated, non-teaching credentialed new-grad folks off the street deploying arbitrary, non-communicated policies which were questionable at-best, abusive at-worst. Our Kindergartner was nothing short of traumatized within the first few weeks of school at that Charter school and we pulled her and sent her here. Holy moly what a difference! The teacher with mounds of experience, an appropriate temperament and wait for it...a Masters Degree! Yes, she is certified, experienced and formally educated in the instruction of children and early childhood development! Days folks...a matter of days our little Kindergartner went from full on hysterical crying begging not to go back to the aforementioned over-rated Charter school to excited to wake up and go.
