Senior: Great School! Small school environment with plenty of great teachers! Christian teaching and a very close group of students. Almost everyone is involved in extracurricular activities and amazing academics. Plenty of AP classes to take advantage of and will be prepared for college if properly taken advantage of. Great college counselors to help you make a college decisions, apply for scholarships, and prepare for interviews. Students are constantly pushed academically, spiritually, and physically. Senior: Alabama Christian Academy has been a great experience for me. Alabama Christian creates a friendly unified environment by constantly trying to get students involved in various things. Alabama Christian Academy sets a perfect example great relationships between students and teachers. During my time at Alabama Christian Academy I have always been close with my teachers and felt like I have had a great relationship with each of them. Parent: Eastwood is a unique place. The teachers are not only capable, but are caring and are invested in their students' success inside the classroom as well as outside. Arts and Athletics programs support the Academic experiences in the classroom, providing opportunities for students to develop as a whole person. Truth is taught and students are taught to search for the Truth. The academics are rigorous. Teachers are helpful and most students are able to rise to the challenge. Senior: The teachers are wonderful, and everyone is incredibly kind. Campus is well-maintained, and there is plenty of opportunities for student-teacher relationships and one-on-one instruction. The students truly come first here and get the attention they need! My one complaint is lack of on-campus upper level high school classes as AP and Dual Enrollment classes must often be taken online. Parent: My four children attended Evangel since K-4, two of which are still students there, and two have now graduated from college. Our children have conveyed that they enjoyed their experiences at Evangel. The two that graduated were well-prepared for college courses and AP writing. One graduated college with a 3.3, and the other one graduated summa cum laude, and is on path to receive a masters at the end of 2021. Evangel was a major contributing factor in their overall academic success. Their many years of class and homework assignments at Evangel, poised them for good study habits and academic excellence in college. Junior: The teachers are amazing. They are so caring and so involved in the lives of the children. The academics really prepare you for college. The kids there are so compassionate for each other. Also, the classes are not packed and it is not a big school so the teachers have opportunities to help in a way that most schools cannot. The sports teams are great. He consistently underachieved in his previous school because he wasn’t sufficiently challenged. Senior: Transferring from a large public school, Autauga Academy is a smaller environment so you connect better with the students and teachers. You feel closer and not just like another student. Everyone knows each other personally, which is something I love about my school. The teachers are hard enough to where you feel challenged and ready for college. Parent: When my child graduated from kindergarten I was just lost as to where to send her for the next school year; I knew public school was out. One day I saw the ad for MCS on TV, and the rest is history for me. This school is one of the best kept secrets in Montgomery, but the word is spreading fast. From the Christian foundation to the superior academic curriculum, I couldn't ask for more. When I drop my baby off (she's now in the 4th grade at MCS), until the time I pick her up, I know she is in a loving, nurturing, environment that will prepare her spiritually, socially, and academically for whatever the future holds for her. Mrs. Atkins, Principal, is an excellent leader and all of the teachers and support personnel are just excellent and mirrors her leadership perfectly.
