Junior: I have been at worthington Christian since late elementary school and really like it here! While at first students were somewhat cliquey (there is a big emphasis placed on those who have attended the school their entire lives,) after a while I found a good group of friends I could fit into. The best thing in my opinion at WC is the staff genuinely seem to care about students. Most likely a mix of the solid Christian foundation, as well as the smaller student faculty ratio, it makes it easier to connect with a teacher, and they very often will offer advice or help if you need it. The education as well is very rigorous, you can take an easier path for it, however for the most part the classes will make you work and actually learn, which is paired well with Bible classes that really dig deep into the word. Overall WC, I feel is a very good place to go for school, with caring faculty, kind students, a strong curriculum, and an ever so important biblical worldview.... Read 108 reviews

Senior: I came to this school my junior year (currently a senior) and I love it. The faculty are all amazing and truly care about each and every student. The only downsides I would mention are mostly due to the small size of the school. I enjoy having smaller class sizes, but a limited amount of students also means less available classes to take, like AP classes or electives. Parent: This is our first year at Madison Christian and we have been thrilled with our experience! We transferred in from another school and had concerns about the transition, but God has been faithful and helped my children acclimate quickly to the new school. The faculty, staff, students, and community at large have made us feel welcomed. The love of Jesus is evident in so many of those here and that makes all the difference. Aside from that, I think the best part is the curriculum. They are transitioning to a Christian Classical Education, which I think is phenomenal. I've been very pleased with what my children have been learning thus far and I'm even more excited about what they will learn in High School. Is it perfect? No. No place is. Parent: We have sent our children (11th & 8th grades) to LCA since preschool. We have been extremely satisfied with the education that they have received. In addition, the teachers and staff care about the student's spiritual and social well beings. Our children have been involved multiple sport and musical productions. Our daughter is getting ready to go to Costa Rica with the upperclassman on a mission trip. She is excited to share her faith with and serve the people she meets. Alum: Harvest Preparatory School is a unique tight knit community. Like any High School your experience is what you make of it! Teachers and Faculty are devoted to helping students succeed. Alum: Veritas is wonderful! The small christ-centered school rents out a church, allowing for an atmosphere where you can have God at the center of your studies, which is what they're all about! With the school being so small, it is also easy to make friends and acquaintances with everyone there. By the end, I knew everyone so closely and it was amazing to feel so loved and supported by everyone there. The staff are extremely knowledgeable, kind, and willing to help anytime you may need. They genuinely care about their students well being and success both academically and in the students personal life. The curriculum is well chosen and rigorous, but not overly-so. I felt challenged but not completely overwhelmed! Overall, I would recommend veritas to anybody. Senior: My experience with Grove City Christian School has been great! When I first came to the school in the 6th grade ( I am now a Senior in high school) I was very nervous because I was going to be the new kid which can be tough and with Grove city Christian school's reputation this meant I was going to have to get used to a more advanced school than I had been used to. I was going to have to make new friends as well. However, on the first day, the people that I met were all very welcoming and sweet to me. They even assigned a buddy to show me around the school. I believe my time here at GCCS has been crucial to the development of my character as well. Of course, it is not secluded from the rest of the world just because it is a Christian school but it has surrounded me with the values I would like to and will uphold for the rest of my life.... Alum: Overall, I had a decent experience at DCS. I attended for five years and really grew as a person during those years. People here are very athletics oriented. If do not play sports in middle school and high school, fitting in may be a serious struggle and you may not really ever be a part of the "DCS Family". One of my friends was an outcast and was bullied until he joined the basketball team - then he was accepted. This aspect was frustrating to me. Most of the staff are amazing and are genuine in their love for Jesus and their faith! Many of the students are the opposite of that, unfortunately. This makes life frustrating for students who are serious about kindness to others and their faith. This is not DCS fault in anyway. Overall, pray about whether or not your child should go here. Parent: Our family has had three children go through GCS. When they each entered high school, they were in the honors program at a school ranked in the top 10 in Ohio. Each took several AP courses, due to the preparation they received at GCS. Many students go into high school already having received credit for high school courses. All of our children got into outstanding colleges, and have done very well. They all graduated high school and college with honors. GCS is just outstanding. The academics fit with whatever academic level your child possesses, whether it be superior, average, or needing improvement. The extracurricular offerings are wonderful.
