Parent: Our sons have already been richly blessed by their time at this academy. The teachers are incredibly high caliber - they are experts in their fields and they happen to love their fields of study. Add to that their love for students, discipling their minds and hearts, and you have an environment for students to excel and discover who they are and what they are meant to do in the world. The field trip opportunities are fantastic, especially the World View Summit offered to all high schoolers where they get to travel to DC and hear from high-ranking speakers on cultural issues. Senior: I am going into my senior year at LBA, and Liberty Bible Academy is an excellent school for a Christ-centered education! The acronym LBA refers to Liberty Bible Academy, but also refers to their mission to "Love, Believe, Achieve." This is in the perfect order (1 Corinthians 13:13). This school is 100% dedicated to that first aspect of their mission (and the others!)! This school is founded on passages like 1 Corinthians 13. They are unwavering in their Biblical commitments, even when it is counter-cultural (Young earth creationism, pro-life, no gay "marriage", etc.) They will not tolerate sinful behavior, yet there is plentiful grace. The teachers are always joyously eager to help the students in any way possible inside school and outside! Once I needed a ride to work, I emailed my teachers to see who could help, and I got multiple quick responses with teachers ready to help. Parent: I am writing this review as a current parent of a preschool student. I cannot express how thankful I am for this school. The mission definitely aligns with our family and it is very evident that the teachers are extremely invested into my child. The best thing about having my child at CCS is hearing him sing bible songs, saying his pledge to the bible and reciting everything that he has learned when he is home. The preschool educators really understand the mind of a preschooler and how to keep their attention/teach them. I cannot wait to watch him grow and learn more as he progresses at CCS. Thank you THANK YOU to the teachers and administration who provide such a Christ-centered and academically excellent educational program. Parent: Heritage Academy has served our family well over the years. I have had a daughter and son graduate over the last five years. They were both into sports and academics. Both were valedictorian for their respective graduation years. I still have one son attending school here. He is in a safe yet diverse environment. He enjoys academic achievement and although not athletic by nature, has the chance to develop skill in sports by playing baseball on their baseball team. He is also able to participate in talent competitions. What Heritage lacks in fancy environment is more than compensated for by the strong character building environment that allows students to grow spirit, mind and body. P.S. Senior: I have been attending this school since pre-school. And as I finish up my senior year, all I can say is that my experience here has been an amazing one. I love he family atmosphere this school creates. the teachers are there for you, and not the money. The curriculum is challenging, as expected, which seriously helps in the long run. Alum: I loved attending St. Marks. The environment is so welcoming and supportive, and they never fail to put in the extra effort for you as a parent or a student. As a student at St. Marks, I learned so much, yet at the same time had so much fun! The smaller class sizes gave my teachers the opportunity to work one on one with me, which certainly helped my academic growth. I made so many friends, many of which I still hang out with to this day.
