Senior: I began my schooling at West Shore Christian Academy in sixth grade. In the beginning I had a difficult time finding friends and where I fit in because of how small the school was. As I have grown up through this school, I formed connections with students, teachers, and learned more about myself. I value the time I spent here, as I have been able to learn about myself and academics through a Christ centered education. This kind of education, while not typical, allowed me to become the person I am today. Because of the size, I have learned to be more inclusive and guide people through their struggles. While the small size was a challenge at first, I learned to adapt to my surroundings and know how to help others adapt. I believe I have helped the culture of the school change into a more accepting community. While changes have happened, I would like to see the school help students learn more about “real-life experiences”.... Read 35 reviews

Parent: I think the teachers are excellent and are a major reason our children are currently attending. I like the current strategic plan to grow the student population but think it is taking longer due to the lack of School Choice. The only drawback I have found is the school board only has one meeting where the parents can attend to voice concerns. Seems the majority of decisions are handed down in closed door sessions. I would like to see the school also sign a coop program with one of the public school districts in the area to allow the students to play on sports teams they currently do not offer.
