Senior: Washtenaw Technical Middle College is an amazing school for diversity. I have noticed that the teachers actually care about their students and make sure that their student have the best professors. The staff loves to motivate and make sure students are passing classes. Whenever I was stuck in a class or felt unmotivated my base advisor was such a big help and helped me. WTMC just wants the best for their students and I love how they take their students mental health seriously. I really recommend this school for people! High School Sophomore: I loved this school! Even though there were uniforms, I still loved it! The fact that this school is small makes it feel like everyone is family! Everyone knows each other really well. The academics were rigorous as well the moral conducts. Parent: My 2 kids are different types of students. With this school & our family working as a team they both get what they need. The communication is wonderful at Keystone. In order for things to be good for all parties involved communication is key! I am also grateful for their ability to listen & act. They love feedback! It’s a good community. My 1st has been there since Kindergarten & my second since Young 5’a. My oldest is now in 7th grade & my yougest in 4th. Senior: My time at Canton Prep has so far been a comforting one. Since it is a charter school under NHA, it was a seamless transition from my middle school to here. The best part is the dual enrollment program with Wayne County Community College District: who doesn't love free college classes AND with an associates degree to top it off. The worst part is the school lunch: most of the time, I can barely stomach the food. Something I would like to see change is student participation with the school. Alum: I loved AP for the community that was there, the teachers were super friendly and easy to reach out too. The faculty was relatively young which made it much easier to connect with my teachers. I also do believe that the school's attempt at preparing me for college career also was accomplished. The curriculum pushed me to step outside of my comfort area a bit and I think this really helped me further down the road when it came in regards to my classes. If I had one constructive critique it would be that there weren't as many clubs available as I may have preferred, but I think that also comes in hand with it being a relatively young institution (established only in 2010 I believe) and having a small student population. Senior: I attended Trillium Academy from my Junior to my Senior year of High School. Coming from public school to a Chater school was a big transformation, but it wasn't too bad after all at Trillium. Most of the teachers there want the best for you and will make sure you succeed in your dreams and goals. They give you many opportunities for you to continue your hobbies/interests by giving you asses to clubs and sports like Student Council, Girl/Boy talk, Robotics, Bowling, Basketball, Cheer, National Honor Society, Track, Interact, and more! Also, our class sizes are smaller than the average class size for High School, so you can focus more and be more hands-on with the teachers if you need help with assignments. Senior: I have been going to CSPA since my freshman year, and I love it! The teachers are very nice, and the classes are very challenging and fun! I have made some of the greatest friends at CSPA, ad I have learned to be more confident in myself and my capabilities. The school has high expectations academically and socially. Students are expected to be respectful of their peers and teachers and to do their best in class. I have thrived in the environment at CSPA and I think many more will too! The school also has great extracurricular programs! The robotics people are super cool and do a lot of fun things! There are lots of sports programs, but I have never gotten into sports or robotics programs. I have, however, participated in the art program exponentially. The art program is great! When leaving the school, you have many opportunities and advantages in the world.
