Parent: Advanced students are allowed to take college classes at community colleges and AP classes online. For club and activities, students can join their home high school in their district. The teachers genuinely care about students and their education.

Senior: This is an absolutely amazing school. Teachers are very kind and I have had many teachers that made learning engaging and interesting while also having it be academically college-prep material. It is especially nice that the school is small, everyone knows one another and has a friendly relationship. There are a variety of clubs every year such as National Honors Society, Robotics, CSF, gardening, debate, Soroptomist (women's empowerment), and much more. The faculty truly cares for each student and puts their all into giving us a great education, while also being engaged and having support. I've talked to students who transferred to other schools and they all discussed how the academics were more challenging and college prep. I have taken multiple college classes while in high school and I was 100% prepared for them with what I have learned from BCMHS. Also, did you know that according to the 2017 seniors CASP test, they are the #1 academic school in Solano county!

Parent: DECS is a wonderful small school in the Northern California Delta. The school benefits from the rural community that surrounds it. The children visit the local library weekly and the community garden. Both are just a block away. The local farmers hold a Ag day each year. Our parent group active & supportive. The teachers work in teams and really tackle individual students who need extra help. The principle Mrs. Belair is an amazing, creative and caring person who lifts and supports the entire community. The best part of the school (to me personally) is that all the teachers are good- there isn't the jostling to get into the "good" class. We have school teams (soccer, basketball and volleyball) that compete with other local schools. We have a dynamic music dept and an amazing art teacher.
