Parent: Our son is a graduating senior (2023) and we can't be happier at STEM. He was part of the first elementary class (grade 5) and has been at STEM ever since. This has allowed him to develop close friendships with peers, great relationships with teachers and staff, and a solid career path at age 17. He will actually graduate from college with an Associate's degree in Cybersecurity before he graduates from high school! This was made possible with participation in P-Tech and the Concurrent Enrollment programs. He is now well-prepared for college and for life. If your child shows propensity for engineering or technology, math or science, STEM will nurture those gifts and provide many opportunities to shine, not only through advanced classes, but also enrichment including Tech Student's Association, Computer Science Honor Society, BEST Robotics,Cyberpariot, paid internships, and more. Sophomore: I actually went to Colorado Early Colleges Inverness but they had no option for that campus. I really enjoyed going to high school there. The student body is tiny but I like that it gives you an opportunity to know all of the students a little bit. The faculty is fantastic! Best of all, the whole purpose of the school is to graduate all of their students with Associates degrees. We can take college classes on campus or we can take them directly from Arapahoe Community College. This is an amazing opportunity for students who will pursue a degree after high school.... Alum: I absolutely loved AA! The middle school is a great place, and every teacher I had from kindergarten through eighth grade was amazing! It is truly a one-of-a-kind environment and I would recommend it! The academics here were amazing and I learned most of the things in my ninth-grade literature class in either sixth or seventh grade here. There's an amazing SRO and the administration is great! Sophomore: I've been at SkyView Academy since kindergarten and have seen it's ups and downs as a school all in all. The bad outweighed the good some years- mainly struggling during 2020 and the COVID pandemic. It struggles to keep teachers leaving it with a lot of classes having to be taught with long term substitutes making it difficult to learn when the class changes every semester or so. Since SkyView has a "tight-knit" "family-like" structure it makes it easy to connect with friends and get close relationships with teachers and peers. It may not be the most accepting to progressive ideas at points but if there is a problem at SkyView-it will be fixed, which is nice when looking at scenarios in other schools.... Read 107 reviews

Parent: We have loved this school. There seems to be a strong practice what you preach ethic in terms of kids respecting each other and respecting the staff. Kids aren't judgmental or snarky, and I have not seen behavioral issues whatsoever. The facility is new and beautiful, the staff and teachers are happy to be there and it shows in how they treat the kids and parents. They are responsive, challenging and supportive. The use of tech is the right amount and being a STEAM school seems to allow for creativity and rigor both. Being a charter, this school draws economic diversity and status doesn't seem to exist or register with the kids, people come from various walks of life. I am a parent of a 5th grader and it feels like this school is a group of safe, protected kids, no vaping, no bullying , no real attitude. Its the benefits of a private school without the elitism and general competitive malaise those schools often breed. We have not always been at this school and can compare.... Read 6 reviews

Middle School Student: The small number of students allows for more one on one learning time with the teachers, which helps the teachers to make sure that each student is really understanding the material. This, combined with each child's ability to work at their own pace, independently, or with a group, make for a perfect learning environment. Another important aspect is that the school, because of it's small numbers, feels more like a community or family than a school. Each student knows the other students, and the teachers know the students as well, an opportunity that would not be provided at a typical public school. Works Here: I believe in the philosophy of Immersion Language Learning and this school performs very well! The teachers present a very experienced and culturally authentic classroom. The students are excited to come to school and are given the opportunity to participate in programs created by learning about other countries. I am impressed by the level of student growth each year.
