#2 Best Charter Elementary Schools in Redding Area
Parent: We have been at Stellar for 2 years, and we're returning for our third. Homeschooling came about due to Pandemic and we started late in the September 2020 but our teacher of record, using intuition and knowledge warned me with all the tasks listed per day, week and month to do some not ALL the work as I felt pressure to do so moving from traditional onsite, five days a week public schooling. They really work with families. We like the option for two days a week on campus. The curriculum, I feel from a trained educator perspective is well-rounded. Stellar plans curriculum to cover Reading & Writing, Grammar, Spelling, Handwriting, use of electronics and technology with a chromebook lending program, science, social studies and math. I found it "use friendly" as I taught my three school aged kids k, 2, and 3 the first year then up a grade: 1, 3 and 4th.
