Franklin Academy Sunrise Campus
Alum: I'm currently a junior in high school, so I have no idea what the school is like now, but when I was enrolled there it was a pretty great school! Brand new at the time with very welcoming staff and some of the best teachers I've ever had. I had just moved to Florida starting 5th grade and all the teachers and other students were really nice to me and I made some friends I still talk to to this day! I don't remember too much from 5th grade, but the middle school experience there was great. Kind and helpful teachers, cool clubs, and I met all my best friends there. Those are things you won't find at the horrendous high school campus in Pembroke Pines. Only reason I didn't give this school 5 stars, was because half of the campus was open hallways, which considering Florida's terrible and sporadic weather, was pretty miserable. Again, I can't speak for the state of Franklin now, I'm sure it's changed a bit, but the time i spent there was pretty great.... Read 4 reviews
