St. Matthew School
High School Senior: St. Matthews is an excellent private elementary school but lacks the middle school experience. Grades sixth through eighth are prepped for going to the local private high school and are not properly educated for furthering their schooling at a public school. I went from St. Matts to a public school and I was not at the same level as other students coming from the public middle schools. That being said, I loved my experience at St. Matthews. The sports that were available to us had great programs with tons of support from the school, parents, and parish. There are many extracurricular activities from Art Club to Chess Club. Over all, St. Matthews is an excellent school for students that want to stay in private school for high school. I suggest that kids switch to public school for middle school to better prepare for public high school if they choice to go that route.... Read 2 reviews
