Alum: Sion is such an amazing school! I was able to take several ACCP and AP classes and entered college with many credits that allowed me to graduate in 4 years with a double major and minor. Alum: AMDG! This is a great catholic high school, one of the best you can attend in the entire state. The sports program is fantastic. It may be even better than some colleges. The academics are of great quality - everyone in Rockhurst is both smart and athletic. The entire organization is closely connected to the local community and every Rockhurst students feel like brothers to each other. The only thing disappointing is diversity. This school is 90% white with few minorities, so there's not much to represent different cultures and races. Regardless, you'll never regret being part of the Rockhurst organization. Senior: Aquinas has been my home for the past four years and I would not trade those years for anything. This school has given me a family that I will be a part of for the rest of my life. It has stellar academics and a very faith-filled community. There are many clubs, groups, and teams to be a part of. Everyone at this school is somehow involved in extracurricular activities. School spirit at STA is always in the air. From the pep assemblies to the football games, every student cheers on the saints. The teachers are some of the kindest, most supportive people I have ever met. I have not encountered a single teacher that I did not like or did not enjoy in their class. Alum: My Experience at St. James Academy was one of, if not the best experience of my life to date. From they're outlook on inclusion, to it's beautiful campus and facilities, I really had finally found everything I was looking for in a High School Experience, and I owe this to Saint James Academy. As an Incoming Junior transfer student in 2017, I really wasn't sure to expect anymore out of High School. I needed a big change, a new positive light in my young adult life. Senior: Throughout my time at Bishop Miege I have been apart of something bigger than just a high school. Most high schools seem intimidating when you walk in, but at Bishop Miege the second you walk in you are greeted by and amazing group of staff that always have smiles on their faces. As for the student population, it has always felt like a family. The community that surrounds Miege as a whole is a family. When you walk around the school and see the interactions between others you can tell that there is genuine connection between everyone in the school. As for the school academically, there are so many opportunities for you to grow as a scholar. There is a variety of clubs, or you can start your own, and there are many classes you can take based on your learning level. Senior: St. Pius High School is a very welcoming and inclusive community when it comes to receiving an education. They offer both slow-moving and advanced pace courses so students can learn at their own pace. I started my freshman year in the slow moving algebra class and am now in college algebra with a steady A-B average. This advancement in my adjust is in part to the amazing teachers and faculty. The teachers here are dedicated to seeing their students succeed. Not a single teacher is inaccessible for assistance, in fact, most will ask if you want some help before you can get the words out of your mouth. This passion to help others is greatly reflected not just in the school's academics, but in the whole St. Pius Community. Sophomore: St. Michaels is an excellent place to be. The community is great. I have made strong friendships here and everyone is extremely welcoming. The school itself is very clean and is very beautiful in general. Going to mass every week is really helpful with strengthening my faith, as well as getting to see Father Sappington and the Sisters every day. Junior: Bishop Ward is a great school overall it has things to offer that other private and public schools have to offer. Parent: Both of my sons went to here, they really care about your student as an individual and they know every student by name they know their parents they communicate with their parents all of them are college ready there’s 100% acceptance into college meaning not a single student the graduated has not been excepted into a college. I love the school so much I wish I would’ve known about it when my daughter was still going to school she definitely would have attended I just can’t say enough about the school and I love that they continue to put God first and make that a priority every day....
