Parent: As an alum and parent, I highly recommend Springs. It is a welcoming community full of academic and creative opportunities. There is a widely diverse student body of day and boarding students. Springs is an academically rigorous high school that encourages independence and participation, and fosters students who are self-directed, motivated learners. The campus is beautiful and the new state-of-the-art classrooms were particularly helpful during the pandemic. The new dining hall by the lake will be a wonderful addition (and will resolve any recent complaints about the school's food). My kids and I especially appreciate Springs' impressive and dedicated faculty who devote their careers and much of their personal lives to the students and the school. Overall, although my children and I each have varied interests and abilities, and we have all had very different experiences at Springs, we unanimously agree that Springs has been an overwhelmingly positive experience in our lives.... Senior: I started attending St.Bernard Preparatory School my freshman year of high-school. For most of my life I attended public schools which significantly differed from the private schools I’ve enrolled. As soon as I entered into the freshman class, students welcomed me and treated me as though we had known each other for a long time. It was heartwarming to know that there are young kids being taught that friendships have such huge impacts on an individual. I’ve experienced in the past multiple times of being bullied and excluded by other students. At St.Bernard students and teachers lift you up and support your decisions. Not only does the school support you, but provided me with the best education. The teachers are hardworking and care for their students. It was easy to follow along in class and especially my chemistry teacher did a very good job at teaching her subject. Senior: Teachers, Coaches, and Administration are great, and have he student's best interest in mind. Springwood School provides a safe environment for all students. Opportunity to be involved in sports or clubs is available to all students. Safety is a high priority. The networking with fellow students, their parents, and former students helps a great deal when looking for a college and developing a career. Most student's parents are professionals in their field and offer their knowledge, expertise, and experience. Springwood School is not just a school, but a family community that seeks to help each student in their endeavors while at Springwood School, and after one has left Springwood School. I will always have strong ties due to the relationships I have made while I have attended Springwood School. Parent: I have so much good to say about this school that Niche wouldn’t allow me to paste my Facebook review- too many characters! Both of my boys are behaviorally good kids- SURPRISINGLY good kids, but lackluster students. My oldest attended summer school at LWMA and that alone gave him the discipline and confidence to pull his grades up, do homework, get pretty good deadest and join the Army. My youngest is I’m his 2nd year at SPA as a Junior. To say most or all the kids there are forced to be there or are bad kids simply isn’t true. My son WANTS to be there because he thrives there. He went from failing to excelling; from lack of interest to participating in team activities; from a wallflower to a leader; from no interest in college to wanting to study Chemical Engineering and commisssioning into the Army. I am extremely appreciative of SPA and all they do. All of the sacrifices are worth my children’s successes. I truly believe in this school and their mission.... Read 32 reviews

Freshman: The Renaissance Academy Prep Is truly a College Prep School. I love the small classroom size and the one on one Instruction with our instructors.
