Senior: I'm a "lifer" at Shorecrest, having been here since Alpha. My experience with the school is perhaps different from students now since there have been many changes both faculty/administration-wise as well as with the newest buildings on campus. Shorecrest introduced me to reading at a very young age. I'm very grateful for that. The quality of education that I have and am receiving is top notch. Middle school prepared me very well for upper school, and now, as a graduating senior, I feel quite confident in my academic abilities. Teachers are just fantastic. The theater and athletics programs are excellent. As a small school, students have the opportunity to be deeply involved in a number of programs, ranging from service clubs to sports to the annual Spring Musical. Being able to do a range of things is important as it allows students to forge their own path by testing different areas out and seeing how they like them. Parent: Excellent staff, kids learn so much and the staff is friendly and always accessible! Communication with the teachers is easy via Remind, they send monthly and weekly reminders and the website is always being updated! I feel happy and safe that my child is well taken care of and I am always in the loop of what is going on with him while he’s there! The school is always creative and making sure the kids not always learn but have plenty of fun activities for them as well as the parents to participate. The school is always clean, organized and well rounded especially during dismissal and drop off at morning time! My son is only in kindergarten and he has already learned so much and have a huge sense of independence which that have installed in him! He’s responsible and knows where he has to go and that’s all thanks for the amazing staff that have taught and let him with love and consideration to the fact he’s only 5 but has so much potential!
