I went to Scurry - Rosser middle school back in 2010-2014, and they were probably the best years of my life. My group of friends felt like we were on top of the world, especially on top of the school crowd. The athletic program was much better in the junior high than high school, simply because people had the young fire to win and wasn't used to life and the athletic system just yet. Highly recommend to bring your kids to this humble country school.

The middle school is the best campus in the district. In 2010 it was named National Blue Ribbon School. The Starr scores have been good. The teacher really help the students in anyway they can to achieve success. The teacher go above what is expected of them. Many using their own money to enhance their classrooms. The coaches work with the teachers to help the athletes keep their grades up. The Principal and assistant work well with the teachers and keep communication open. The district as a whole is great to, with great leadership from the top. It is a great place to learn and teach. Everyone works hard to achieve the goals.
